SunRidge FarmsDark Chocolate Coconut Chews, 5.5 Ounce

I purchased a bag of the dark chocolate coconut chews at a local store and loved them. I then purchased the 10 lb bag online in order to make gift bags for friends but was disappointed to have them arrive in an unsealed bag (not even a twist tie) and spilled loose in the cardboard box. Who knows what they were exposed to during transport.

We have been getting these for years now from the bulk sections of Whole Foods and similar "heath food" stores. They are great, but sometimes a little inconsistent. Sometimes some of them seem like they are stale - the coconut filling is kind of crunchy instead of chewy. This could be because of handling, or time in storage, or who knows.But this 10lb bag-inb-a-box was awesome. Every single one I've tried so far is perfectly chewy, seems fresh, and is just awesome. No concerns about someone doing something dumb in the bulk section of the grocery store, no concerns about time and handling in transit. This is the way I'm buying these from now on.

These are my favorite "healthy" candy. They are like little candy bars with dark chocolate and coconut on the inside. I found these at a local health food store one day only to go back a few days later and there were none left. After giving them a chance to get them for me, they couldn't locate a supply for some reason so I went onto Amazon and found them. I consider these "healthy" because the chocolate is grain sweetened and this contains organic ingredients. SunRidge farms (the maker of these coconut chews) is a highly respected producer of health products as well. If you like dark chocolate and coconut then I highly recommend buying this product.
