I have a shop vacuum that uses 1 7/8" accessories (Harbor Freight Bauer 6 gal). It came with few accessories, and I scoured the big box stores looking for the usual attachments. Or at least an adapter from 1 7/8" to the more common 1 1/4" attachments. I finally found this which has just what I needed.This includes one 1 7/8" floor rectangular end, an adapter to 1 1/4", a 1 /4" flexible nozzle, and a 1 1/4" triangular end. This has been great for DIY and shop projects. The flexible nozzle is good for cleaning floor ductwork, for cleaning cars around the seats, and along the walls when working on flooring. The rectangular end has worked great for sweepings, and for around the table saw and miter saw. The triangular end has been good for corners. I used the rectangular end to vacuum up about 20 gals of water from a concrete floor.They seem to be sturdy, time will tell. They slide on the 1 7/8 hard plastic hose ends easily, remain in place, and are easy to remove. Using the 1 1/4 ends on the 1 7/8 vacuum seems to accelerate the air flow and increase the suction power.Great price for what you get.

These attachments allow you to use the power of your shop vac to clean your car and they work well with some modification. The tolerances and sizing for the adapter are slightly off. The adapter which you will need to use all three attachments on your 2.5" hose shop vac is not sized properly and the attachments do not stay connected to the adapter and the adapter does not stay connected to the hose and/or they leak. The solution I found was quite simple. Use good quality electricians tape and make two wraps around the large end and one wrap around the small end of the adapter. With this simple modification, the adapter stays connected to the hose and does not leak and the attachment stays connected to the adapter and does not leak. These attachments are just not as heavy duty as the Craftsman and Shop Vac brand attachments I bought 15 to 20 years ago. All the manufacturer needs to do is correct the size tolerances and fit off the adapter and add a measly 1 mm in thickness to all of the attachments and the adapter and this product is the quality you expect and deserve.

Bought this item to go with Home Depot brand shop vac, the rigid brand. Only one attachment fits it so beware. The attachment that works is the one for cleaning car interiors which actually works well, very thin for getting in crevices and down seats.

It's too bad that wet dry vacs no longer come with their own attachments. It's sort of a no-brainer or it should be. In any case, these attachments work very well and since I measured the hose correctly for my device, I was able to get the right sized pieces. They work very well, and in particular the long nozzle has helped me to brush, clean, soap and sweep my car upholstery and vacuum it such that it has a brand new look to it with no dirt or built-in grime. So I can make my own car almost show room ready which was one of my reasons for buying the attachments in the first place. They are useful around the shop and for jobs in the house that are too grimy to subject for our regular vacuum. So I'll give these attachments five stars since they have done everything I was expecting them to do and more.

The wide attachment fit perfectly fine onto my shopvac. I know my hose diameter was correct. However, the adapter in the box was far to big for any of the other attachments to fit. Won't order this product again and I'll probably just buy at a regular hardware store to ensure I'm getting the right ones.Sometimes it's worth paying more for the convenience of knowing your getting exactly what you need.

I have a Ridgid WD4070 (4 gal, 5 peak hp) and needed a tool to reach between center consoles and seats of cars. I figured may as well get the whole pack, especially since it's hard finding 1 7/8" accessories. Well the long crevice tool that bends is AMAZING. I use it for so much more than I thought. The wide mouth tool has a solid seal on whatever it touches. The brissel tool is great for car carpet with dirt embedded and needs agitation. And all of them are made of thick, reliable polymer. Best shop vac accessory kit I've ever used.

I am a car detailer and this is a great way to add versatility to your shop Vac. The dry vacuuming tools are great and make vacumming easier and faster. The slim tool is perfect for getting in tight spaces. The wet tool is great and I can pretty much not use my dedicated extraction tool. The quality of the tools are also great. Nothing crazy but I can tell it will last for a while and get the job done!

I expected 2 1/2 attachments that were advertised and got 1 1/4 with adapter so if your looking for 2.5in adapters save your 21$s and add 20 more and get the car care kit b/c this is not 2.5 adapters! But if you're looking for 1.25 not to bad but their are cheaper ones out there

These aren't 1-7/8 attachments as advertised. This is simply a general attachment set that comes with one adapter to reduce/upsize it to 1-7/8.I bought this specifically as "1-7/8 set" to avoid using adapters - what's the point I could have just gotten any other set.The attachments itself are decent and do the job.However only the wider upholstery attachment actually fits my 1-7/8 hose. The other attachments are likely 1-1/4 and therefore don't belong in this "1-7/8 set" as they permanently need the adapter that came with it.

The adapter doesn't fit very snug and is quite loose, the suction is weak as well at the wider parts it barely will pull anything, some of the adapters are too long and do not fit in vehicle crevices either. Seems like it is well built but needs some redesigning.

So these do work with a regular rigid shop vac hose but you have to use the attachment that comes along with the different tools. I use it for cleaning the car and so far it’s effective

I bought this set for the same price as I paid for the wedge tool alone at Home Depot.The product is IDENTICAL to what Home Depot sells as their Ridgid line of vacuums and accessories.

Very nice set of tools for vacuuming out cars and upholstery. I've used it several times on different cars and this set has everything you need. Good value - I really just bought it for the brush, but the other tools have been super useful for getting carpets clean.
