Powerful and moving!
This is by far one of the best- if not THE best- books I have ever read. Powerful and moving, it took hold of my heart and left me in tears, yet is also beautifully peaceful. A must-read.

Easy, Enjoyable, Informative
I live not far from Moscow, Idaho. (Opportunity, as the town is called in the book). The book, though fiction, captures a fairly accurate history of the town. The author was born in 1895 in Moscow, Idaho. I read the book for a book group. I didn’t think I’d like it, but was pleasantly surprised. It was an easy, pleasant & informative read.

Book arrived when promised
The book arrived in better condition than had been described. Looked like new and pages seemed as though the book had never been read.

Loved the book. Would read it again and recommend it.
The setting and that the people in it were real people in that time period. Was history with fiction,

Sent both books back.
I bought 2 of these, one for me and one fir my best friends birthday. I started reading and didn't not like at all. The Dr is awful, he takes the Lords name in vain constantly. I returned both books.

Great book
My husband and I really enjoyed this book. It has a lot of nonfiction elements, but Brink has embellished the stories to make them easy to read.
