Oil Heater, Homeleader 1500W Oil Filled Radiator Electric Heater with Digital Thermostat, 24 Hrs Timer & Remote, Portable Heater for Full Room Indoor

I bought this intending to keep Gramma's room hot enough the rest of us could breathe in the rest of the house without overheating. It has a digital thermostat. I thought this would be great It's not. The instructions to use the unit are confusing at best. The heater itself doesn't warm the room all that much (the room is 10 x 15). I put it by her bed and that area barely gets warm.Waste of money. We have an old style oil filled heater that works much better. I'd ship it back but we've used it for a month or so. Not worth it. Not sure it's energy efficient, but the "fins" are not very thick, so obviously there isn't much oil in them. Cools down fast.

I have used this oil filled type heater for over 20 years, this is the best one I have ever owned. What makes this better ? (1 ) Handle and handle end is cooler if you have to move it ( when your sweeping-cleaning floors ). ( 2 ) It is quieter when it is on than other brands, some other ones I have owner would make gurgle sounds. ( 3 ) It did not smell when first turned on, a couple other brands I have bought had a paint smell for several days and I returner them. I like timer, I would never buy one without a timer again the timer is worth the slight extra cost. I agree with nice review Jane Fairchild-Vine Voice wrote about this. Only minus is the instruction manual, it could of been written better and larger size, but I still gave it 5 stars.

Bought this for my office at work because it does not have heat in it. It has kept my office at a nice 70 degrees for the last week.I turn it off when I leave at the end of the day and on when I come in. It take about an hour to bring it up to temp and regulates the temperature nicely through out the day.Seems very Weill built and sturdy. I enjoy the remote because the location I had to put it in is not the easiest place to reach.

Does this radiator do what’s suppose to? Yes. Looks good too BUT I HATE the loud beeping anytime you change anything on it. I also HATE that the screen is super bright, you can’t ever dim it or turn it off and it has rotating circle of lights when it’s on. I have to tape over it just do it doesn’t look like a disco in my room at night. If you don’t mind that, it’s great value for the money and it definitely provides warmth.

I ordered this electric oil filled radiator based on the reviews which indicated it was good at heating and the thermostat was accurate. I found it to be just the opposite. It barely heated my 10 X 10 room to 65 F. The thermostat was totally worthless. Apparently, it's meant to read the temperature of the oil in the heater not the ambient temperature in the room. The mode feature was weird. It has a mind of its own. In other words, it determines whether the heater is on high medium or low. It is not possible to keep the heater set on just one level. The timer was also weird. I thought the unit I received might have been defective so I ordered a replacement. The replacement functioned just the same so I just sent it back and asked for a refund.

The wheels are missing. I receive today with no wheels it look like I receive one that had ready been used by another customer I paid all this money for this thing thinking it would heat up my rooms when it dont smh. Very disappointing and the wheels are missing!

We should have returned it when out of the box, the room temperature reading was 7 degrees off. We really needed it and made do with it. After having to offset the desired room temp by 7 degrees whenever adjusting it, four months later the relay now buzzes loudly for a second when it is turning on or off the heating element. We don't really even feel safe using it. So we paid this much for heater that did not even last a season - Two significant failures no less.

It arrived sooner then I expected and just in time for this cold snap here in Florida, Ideal for my mobile home living room. Performs just like expected great heater for the price and very reliable. Thanks Amazon!!!👍
