A sturdy and attractive set - keeps the kids engaged for more than an hour.
Really good and robust. Excellent quality and worth the money. Many different types of pieces which help build multiple things. Vibrant colour makes it look attractive to kids. Size of the pieces is such that it is easy to hold and manipulate.Overall a vey good set.

Depends on what you need.
I was debating between magnatiles and picassotiles for my 2.5yr old. Considering the price difference i went with picasso and the good reviews. The magnetic strength is good while stacking but poor while building. The magnets should have been mounted side ways. The quality and build are ok. Many times what we build keeps collapsing under its own weight. I have no idea how magna tiles are, probably i will buy down the line when I can afford more. Colour is fine , surface is scratch-able. Though this is not my priority. Update after a few weeks of use - My son likes to play with it. Once you understand how much weight you can load and how to align the strong side of the magnet, things are a bit easier but you cant build mega structures. So changing my stars from 3 to 4. Tiles are withstanding his brutal treatment.
