Works Flawlessly
product just arrived!Whats inside the package: Installation mini-cd, Bluetooth USB AdapterWas very simple to install on my WinXP machine. Package indicates it supports WinVista will try that out later on my nephew's pc. Ran the program that was installed and turned my phone's bluetooth on "find me" mode. In the progam simply clicked "My Bluetooth" and 'Bluetooth Device Discovery', it found my phone within 5 seconds. Paired the program with my device and it asked my permission on my phone. Gave it permission and it asked me for a code, I input a code that I just made up and then the program asked for the same code. This code helps prevent others from interfacing with the program when I have it on. Once it accepted the code I merely clicked on "Bluetooth file transfer service", the program then opened an windows explorer type folder listing all the folders I have on my phone. I was then able copy and paste stuff (images, ringtones, music) directly into that folder and it was then on my phone. It really couldnt have been simpler. I literally was able to get rintones from my computer to my phone using this product within 5 minutes from opening the package. In closing, great product, great price, would recommend to anyone looking for a Bluetooth USB Adapter to transfer stuff from their pc to their phone. It also works with Bluetooth 2.0 devices so I can listen to music on my pc with my bluetooth headset with ease. This item does in fact work on Windows Vista without any problems what so ever.

Good news and bad news
Good news:- The price was great and the shipping was amazingly fast.- It worked on XP with my Bluetooth Wacom graphics tablet.- It's available in several colors. The dark blue looks nice.Bad news:- It didn't work quite right on XP with my Razr cell phone; it cut off photo transfers, so they only came through partially.- Although it's available in several colors, there doesn't appear to be a way to select a color. They sent me the dark blue.No news:- I haven't tested it on Vista, because nothing seems to work quite right there. Another reviewer said it does, so I'll have to give it a try.

Ehhhh
Adapter doesn't work well, efficiently. Maybe it is just my specific phone, but I can't make any file transfers either way...which is the primary reason I purchased the adapter. I'll stick to the one built into my laptop for now I guess. I have an LG Venus (if anyone on here is buying it for their own).My advice like many of the others is to fork out the extra bucks and buy a quality adapter that will work and last!

If you're just gonna use them in 1 room, go for it!
I bought this bluetooth adapter for the same reason you might of: it's dirt cheap. Well, for being dirt cheap, it's not that bad. The only problem is the range. If I'm listening to music from my PC (which is in my room) and I walk out to the kitchen, I lose signal. They're advertising 100M of range, but it's really more like 10 feet. If you're like me, and just need bluetooth in 1 room, not thorough your entire house, then by all means, buy this little adapter. Oh, and the software that comes with it is really easy to use, and it quickly finds bluetooth-enabled cell phones, MP3 players, headphones, etc.

It does what it's supposed to!
I'm very happy with this product. I bought it to connect my phone to my computer, and although I found out the hard way that my phone doesn't let me do that, I was very glad that this dongle did what it needed to do. It was easy to set up, immediately allowed my computer to find my phone, and it's small enough that it doesn't stick out and make me afraid I'm going to knock it off and break it.

Stay away from this if you're running Vista
In order to get this to work with Windows Vista, you need to download the 14.95 euro BlueSoleil package from IVT. It does not work with Vista's in-box bluetooth stack. It's a clear example of "you get what you pay for".Also for XP users, search the web for ISSCBTA Code 43 - you'll find a host of users that have had issues installing this device.

Works ok, not worth much
I got this in 2008 to hook my bluetooth headset to my computer. It worked ok, and I've found a handful of small fun projects that it was useful for, but I haven't used it much over the last 3 years. It doesn't work very well, and I don't think it was really worth the $8 I spent on it, but for a few bucks it would have been fine.

OK Only for Limited Bandwidth
I bought this item for use with a Wacom Graphire tablet. However, it turns out it can't handle the data rate for pressure sensitivity. The tablet/pen combination works, but only like a non-pressure-sensitive mouse. The product otherwise worked well right out of the box, but had I known its bandwidth limitation, I'd have never bought it. The feature listing that says it complies with Bluetooth 2.0 is incorrect--if you look under "See more technical details," next to "standards compliance" it lists only Bluetooth 1.2. Even though it was such an inexpensive item, this kind of thing just burns me up. You get what you pay for in this case.
