284 '01-'05 Chevy Duramax Fan

NOT EVEN CLOSE to fitting my 2001 Suburban! Took major time to pre-wire everything and remove the old fan and when I go to mount it there is NO WAY this thing will fit. 4" too narrow compared to the stock radiator.Changed my review from 1-star to 3-star. The fans cool well but require custom mounting. I had to fabricate a custom shroud to mount on my Suburban. Apart from the mounting the fans work well. I have dual batteries and a 150amp alternator so electrical supply is not a problem for me. The A/C cools much better at idle than with the mechanical fan.One big complaint is that the controller can't run one fan at a time. This makes for LOUD summer cruising. It also isn't smart enough to turn off the fans at highway speeds when the A/C is on.

So far so good. Really nicely built and looks great. I love the tcm bracket that come with kit.

Not a manufacturer issue. Zero doubt item was once in great shape. I've bought flex a lite fan kits before and great. Opened box for latest and its beat all up. Honestly looks like brackets loose in the box caused the issue. I think box was smashed and brackets caused damage to blades. But also sorta looks like this could have been something re boxed also. Not sure. I have asked for replacement and to return this one. I will update after receiving replacement

Absolutely great product from flexlite

Very well made product. Cooler ac at low speeds. Installing fans was a breeze take your time and follow directions. Direction was spot on.

Flex a lite should be ashamed of them selves for selling something so cheap. If I would have time I would send it back and made my own.

Did not get enough cooling when towing. The A/C did not work as well either.
