I used this underneath a white silicone water lily shaped soap dish that needed to have something that water seeping through it could drain into. The shape of it went perfectly with the shape of the lily dish and coordinated with the surface this plate would sit on.

These plates are pretty, however, they are to heavy for me. The color has a silver grayish tinge in the wavy lines which makes them unique. These plates are big and heavy and they do have an Asian flare.

These are nice heavyweight noodle bowls.That said...they don't match. The description notes they are finished in a metallic glaze but only one of my bowls had this glaze, the other is just a flat brown with paint drips.If you sell items as a pair it is expected they will match.

Plates are heavy, well made.... fast shipping and well wrapped....awesome product and will definitely buy from again

Exactly as pictured in terms of color. Haven't used it just yet, but seems to be made out of strong ceramic material.

I love the plates - just wish I could get matching bowls in the same color so I could buy more pieces!!

I order this set of two, and one arrived broken. I'm trying to get it replaced by the seller. In the meantime it's easy enough to review an olive tray, and there is one good one in the set. The appearance is a really neat handmade ceramic tray. The glaze is a matte black. My only objection, not serious, but possibly a bit annoying, is that the tray doesn't sit flat and stable, but rocks a bit if you perturb it. This is probably because of its handmade nature, although I don't see why the makers could not have flattened the bottom better.
