I have an antique plate that is a target for theft. I purchased these to make sure that didn't happen. However, someone was able to remove one of the screws not too long after I installed them.

The screws are standard tamper-proof Torx. The set includes an "L" shaped driver similar to an Allen wrench and also a screwdriver bit that fits an impact driver or a ratcheting/multi-tip screwdriver.The screws and washers are non-magnetic stainless steel.The self-adhesive pads are probably not needed for most installations, but are a nice touch.The snap-on, plastic screw covers work well. You install the clear washer under the screw head and the black plastic cover snaps onto the clear, cup-shaped washer.

Received product and it came with chrome covers instead of black. Also not sure if tool provided or the screw heads are not properly cut. I did not have an extra security bit to try so I don’t know which one is not quite right. Was able to get the plate fastened. So that’s positive, just not as easy as it should have been.

I needed a few replacement screws for some that were missing. The nylon nut plates mean I don't have to worry about galvanic activity between the screw and the nut plate (the source of the problem with the old screws). The plastic covers for the screw heads also keep the gunk out so I will be able to remove the screws easier when I need to. They worked so well I took out the remaining screws and replaced them as well.

It's as described and works great. Installed in just a couple of mins. Just get your size.

Let me be honest here. These were a pain in the rear to put on, but can you imagine how much of a pain it'll be to remove them without the right tool? 4 little screws, I was so cussing myself for buying these, but now I'm a happy camper. They're like the lug locks on your rims, no key, no remove.

Ordered these anti theft bolts for my truck. When they arrived I noticed that I needed M6 bolts but had ordered M5. I contacted Tina in customer service and she sent me M6 replacement bolts along with a key chain & a USB car adapter, including shipping, FOR FREE! Now that's what I call customer service! The bolts look like they would be very difficult to remove without the included tool.

A little expensive for eight screws. But who needs a whole box.
