SHIMANOZODIAS SPN 70 L

** update** I purchased 6 zodias rods 3 casting, 3 ml spinning. The 3 spinning rods did not last until june. one of the casting rods broke the second eye back in early spring. They are fantastic rods but no durability at all . switching to FX custom rods. i have never broke so many rods in 1 year in my life. i love shimano reels but will never ever buy one of their rods again.I bought this rod as a Ned rig/ drop shot rod. I can say it is fantastic! It has became my favorite spinning rod I own. It is super light and well balanced. Today u was fishing in high winds with a drop shot. 40 feet out and 7 feet deep water I could still feel bass hitting my drop shot. I will be purchasing another rod very soon, on to stay on my kayak and one to use at out pond at our house.

This rod is very light and beautifully balanced. I have both the casting and the spinning version in Medium Heavy at 7'2' and fast action. Combined with the Vanford 2500 it is very responsive and feels like an extension of your arm. I fish both freshwater and off of the pier. It catches Bass, Corbina, Mackerel and Bonita and flips them right in the boat and on the pier with ease. I'will buy this rod again in the Heavy 7'5 version soon.

Awesome rod that is mega sensitive, I will be using this rod primarily for inshore fishing. First catch was a 7.5# striped bass deep in some submerged pilings. This rod paired up with a shimano stradic Ci4 2500 is a match made in heaven! Pulled several nice fish straight out of the pilings

Broke in half after five cast and having a bass on the line. Very expensive rod for such poor quality. I was so excited to use this rod and so disappointed when it snapped in half within the first 5 minutes of use. I would not recommend this rod

Very very light weight. Performed perfectly with a shimano vanford 3000. I recommend.
