FFP3 Respirator, Construction Dust Mask, CE, EN149:2001+A1:2009 Face Mask FFP3 NR

I bought these for general use (including DIY)and because 'worn in ear' type masks are fiddly for me to put on (I have limited movement in my left arm). I was stopped at my local hospital and asked to change my mask because while it was great for filtering incoming air, it didn't filter outgoing. But still a keeper.

You definitely know you are wearing these masks bulky and much stiffer and heavier than the paper masks.I found I could wear on all day when necessary. I travelled 4 hours on a LNER train to Newcastlewith a booked seat, the rail operator sold the seat next to me the passenger did not have a mask at all, I put this on and survive to tell the tale. I used the same mask for my retun trip.

I had great hopes of these masks - and indeed, they're well-made and very robust. But try as I might, I just CANNOT get them to fit with my glasses! The mask is much too bulky to put my glasses over the top, and there's not enough room to get my glasses underneath. Added to which, the border of the mask is very stiff, and won't mould to my face at the sides, even when I tighten all the straps as much as I possibly can. I'm so disappointed. And of course, being masks they're not (quite rightly) returnable. So... a big waste of money. But, you win some, you lose some. Now I have to find a friend who doesn't wear glasses, whom these masks might fit.

Quite useful but don't use with glasses or on tasks which require eye protection because they "stram-up" withins seconds rendering both useless. This is especially the case when working on tasks below eye level, which, let's face it is about 90 per cent of most jobs.

My husband does a lot of woodwork in his garage but it gets very dusty. These masks are the only type he likes as some others are uncomfortable. They have the elastic in just the right place with the right amount of tension.

I purchased these masks to travel in confidence during an international flight with long, dense airport queues and wait times. I did my research. And, the masks checked all the boxes (reputable manufacturer, correct product specifications, prompt delivery, relatively reasonable price, etc. ) save one important one....packaging. I was sadly disappointed the masks were not individually wrapped. Had they been, I would have been more than happy to have rated them 5-stars.

Very difficult to breathe... I can't see myself wearing this for a long period of time.Plus, the seal isn't great if you have a large nose. Or a small face. A combination of both features is the worst (aesthetically, and in terms of this mask...)

Good quality. No fogging up the glasses!! Right fit. Felt safe.
