High-Quality set of traction spikes
We bought two pairs in large, as my son and I were going to be hiking on Barr Trail on Pike's Peak in early March. We both wore Herter's size 10.5 hiking boots and the large spikes fit perfectly over the boots. They come with a lightweight storage bag.We had about 4 miles of snow and/or ice going up to Barr Camp and these spikes did an excellent job. They didn't shift on our boots; they stayed perfectly in place as we hiked on compound slopes. We had 35 lb packs and we walked confidently across long patches of smooth ice. The occasional bare spot in the ice/snow subjected these to dirt, gravel, and big rocks and these spikes still held up very nicely. At camp, many other hikers had micro-spikes. There were a wide range of brands in various price ranges and ours were not out of place with the higher-end spikes. The rubber "frames" of ours were intact and the material remained supple in singe-digit temperatures. We didn't summit so I can't say how these would do above 11,000 ft but altitude shouldn't affect the rubber frame. The spikes showed slight wear from the rocks but nothing to affect their performance and the links were intact.Coming down, the spikes performed similarly as they did on the hike up. No slipping of the spikes on our boots and no slipping for us on the ice. We wore these a little while after the snow and ice were gone (waiting for a good place to rest and un-spike) and could see more noticeable wear on the links and spikes. The storage bag came in handy and kept the dirt/dust out of our packs.Returning home, we did a closer inspection of the spikes and noted some bent links and spikes. We used needle-nosed pliers to straighten them and they're as good as new. (If you carry a multi-tool in your pack, you could easily do in-field repairs on these.)We highly recommend these spikes. We put them through a wide range of conditions on a wide range of slopes and they did not let us down.

Great traction. I didn't order the right size
Great traction. I didn't order the right size, but it could have depended on the type of shoe I was wearing. I took these on some icy and snowy trails and they worked perfectly! I didn't slip at all. My salomon running shoes we are little narrow for the front part of the chains, but regardless, the type of shoes I will wear these with are a bit wider. VERY true to size. I ordered the large, but should have got a medium. Either way, these were AWESOMe for the price. Recommend to anyone who needs traction for any reason.

The best!
These are the 100% absolute best cleats ever. I am now fearless on the ice. I no longer fear falling at all. Living in Montana is challenging in winters, so I need cleats that are dependable. I only have them and have used them multiple times a day for 3 days so I can't yet speak for lasting durability but I can speak of functionality. They are accurately sized and go on with minimal effort. I'm in awe of their traction. You need these and should not hesitate to buy a pair.

Flimsy and inadequate
Disintegrated during their second day of use. The metal links repeatedly pulled apart and eventually entire sections fell off. My friend's Kahtoolas held up to the same usage without issue. As compared to the Kahtoolas, both the metal and rubber is thinner and less substantial. These might hold up to the occasional walking of your dog, but if you are doing anything more intensive, invest in a higher quality pair of microspikes.

Good for smaller boots
The crampon fell off within 30 minutes of wearing it and I was constantly adjusting the remaining one. Definitely too small for size 11 men's boot.

They work good, but not great quality
Review is based on only one use in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, at the Eben Ice Caves. These cleats work very good on the ice.Sizing is a bit off. I purchased these for a men's size 10 hiking boot, so I ordered the Medium based on the sizing info given. They were too small for a men's size 10 boot, but they worked great for my niece who had a size 8 woman's boot. I could get them on the men's boot while inside, but it was a very tight stretch, and nearly impossible outside in the cold.Quality is ok at this price point. Nothing special. One of the links had bent and came undone. There was some surface rust on them when we got home. These are not stainless steel. Just basic chain which works fine. Just don't expect these to take great abuse for many years.I also purchased a pair of Hillsound FreeSteps6 in a size Large which fit my men's size 10.5 boot just right. These are a much better quality chain and rubber. The chain is stainless steel and the rubber is a bit thicker, yet still very elastic. But they also cost twice the price.

Cleats worked great for icy Grand Canyon trail!
I used these Crampon cleats for hiking into the Grand Canyon - and they worked great! Nothing came apart and the traction didn't bend at all (walked with them on ice and some rocks). They also fit my sneaker (size 10) and my daughter's (size 7.5). I'd buy these again. In fact I might need to since I lost one of my pair after I had "secured" it to my backpack (it was a great find for someone else on the Grand Canyon trail). Yet, these worked great with having just one on (shared with my daughter).

Still holding up
Still holding up. I've read the reviews that complained about durability. I bought these mainly for the price because I didn't want to fork over the 65 for the other brands. I felt a sense of regret and foreboding just knowing these would break right away. They did not. I tested them out on the 1st hike thinking I'll break these and send them back feeling OK because one hike and a break isn't good quality. Beginning of winter, I hiked snow, slush, and lots of rocks. My 601 and 235lbs size was sure to break these on a rock. Nope, they held up this hike and all of winter. Lets see about next winter. Traction was solid on ice and snow. Deep snow wasn't too helpful. as for the fit, I wear 13 snow boot and these went right over. Little snug but fit.
