It is very easy to use. You dip the stick in the water for1 second and wait 60 seconds and compare the test strip colors to the chart on the side of the bottle. If there is a problem with the water, it also gives you instruction on how to resolve it. I liked it even more when I went to my goto store for my supplies and saw a staff helping a customer and was using exactly same test kit.

The test strip falls off before required number of dunks al.ist everytime

It turns a color of violet that isn't on the chart. It is telling me my GH is 300+ when I have a ph of 6.8.

Worked pretty well. It’s a little difficult to align the color with that of the test strip, but that could be me and not the strips. Overall worth it

Good quality test strips for the home aquarium

After having multiple fish die, and not understanding why, I bought a different testing kit. THIS photo is my actual ammonia reading! According to these strips, I have ZERO ammonia and my water is perfect, which is not true. DO NOT trust these test strips. Save yourself the money and heartbreak and go with an actual testing KIT, not these strips. (Apparently these reviews are for multiple test strip types that this company sells. The ones I bought are specifically for testing ammonia levels.) I'm so pissed having to watch my poor fish die.

Good test strips, not sure if they work as my tank hasn't shown any ammonia at all, which is what you want. Only thing that has bugged me is some of the strips have stuck together and some one the little square pads have fallen off, not the end of the world, but there not cheap.

Very disappointed it's not accurate if I dip it clean water that has been treated with high strength amonia remover that I know if I use a different product it will come back as 0 amonia when I use these strips it always seems to come back green all the time

Easy to use and test water

The colour of the test pad is so faint and is marbled with dye it's very difficult to read, if not impossible. Wouldn't buy again.

I have been a member of Amazon for 9, almost 10 years, and this is literally the first negative review I've bothered to write: that's how disappointed I was by these sticks. I only purchased the ammonia ones, so I can't speak for the 6-in-1, but the ones I got were basically useless. Most of the little test squares had fallen off, or the sticks were stuck together. For what it's worth, they seemed accurate enough - the handful I could use.
