Perfect fit even buying online. Many features not listed in description. Quiet.
I had tried on many helmets of varying styles at cycle gear and dealerships. I decided to take a chance and order this helmet in Large even though measurement chart suggested Medium. One day delivery and it fit perfectly. Amazing! Lightweight and quiet at 70MPH. Still can hear my bar mounted speakers and no fairing. I will probably try a helmet speaker system at some point. Only Cons are lack of any instructions on liner removal, visor (s) removal, etc. Also, on the Vega website, I learned that it is ready for Bluetooth speakers and allowances for wiring. I have not removed lining yet to see what is actually there. For $100 its well worth the money IMHO.

Perfect Color Match to my Spyder RT Limited and a perfect fit for my 2XL Claustrophobic Head.
I didn't add a photo, because the stock image is an exact match for what I received. I had tried on a few XL helmets at the dealership where I bought my Spyder, but those felt like they were ripping my ears off and REALLY triggered claustrophobia. Since this one is considered a 3/4 versus full because it doesn't have a fixed piece around the chin and allows a little flexibility in pulling it out to put it on, I went with the 2XL which matched what was advised based on my measurements. It fits snuggly, as it should, but it allows me to put it on without having my ears ripped off. I rode a few days around town without a helmet while I waited on this one to arrive, so I can say that the "Noise" complaints some have stated about this are not really that significant to me. With my wife riding behind me, and also wearing a helmet, I can still hear her when she leans forward to say something to me... though at full road speed of 70-75 MPH it is more difficult to do so. It is relatively cool when heading down the highway, though not as cooling as without a helmet, but certainly much safer with it. It also has an internal Sunscreen piece that can be raised and lowered, and I've found that to work great for me and my personal needs. It provides adequate shielding from the sun without compromising safety by trying to wear shades under the helmet. For the money, this helmet exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely consider another in the future if I should need to replace this one.

Affordable, Good Quality, Really Noisy
I have worn a similar style Vega helmet for the past six years, and I purchased this one as a "just like what I had" replacement. In fact, it's a significant upgrade from my older helmet, and I like it a lot--with one large and one small complaint.Positives: Very comfortable. Very good fit and finish. Good quality materials. Visor mechanism works very smoothly. I like the quick connect/disconnect strap. Very reasonable price for what you get. There are a lot of "very" adjectives here--I quite like this helmet.Big Negative: This helmet is NOISY. Lots and lots of wind noise starting around 30 mph. I ride in urban/suburban traffic and normally don't get much faster than that, but I went up to 50, and the wind noise was starting to get painful. Angling my head to change how air flows over the helmet did not seem to make much of a difference.Small negative: The built-in sun visor works smoothly, has an easy to use control, and cuts glare a good amount. However, for me, the visor is about 1/2" too short, so it ends within my field of vision--meaning that there's a bright stripe at the bottom of my sight, even with it down. So close... but not quite perfect.

Great helmet
I’ve been trying to replace my Nolan that I’ve had 13 years I did buy a inexpensive bell helmet a half helmet it’s ok for a back up or second rider I tried on several helmets that did fit well very very tight fit X/L still to tight but this Vega I purchased for less money fit perfectly size large it’s a 3/4 helmet with 2 shields 2 vents on top of the helmet that actually work quick snap chin strap I hate them ring fasteners first test was out on the interstate I’ve had helmets that bounce around this one stayed tight and quite 70 80 mph I was impressed the Nolan seems to have a little more quality but all and all the Vega is a better helmet at a faction of the cost needless to say I’m very happy with this purchase

Yes I rated it high in areas as "comfort" and "value" and such... but this helmet DOES have "ISSUES"
When I first saw the interior design of this helmet, I was worried that it was going to squeeze my face in and make things tight, restrictive, and overall uncomfortable; but to my surprise, all of these fears & concerns were allayed -- this is a VERY comfortable and yet still snugly-fitting helmet... and yeah, it looks awesome for something in its price range.HOWEVER... for all of the "positives" I could lay at this helmet's feet, there are several issues that I have with it which may influence whether or not readers of this review might wish to consider continuing to browse around for an alternative elsewhere.I cannot really say which of these issues of concern are [quote] "First and Foremost" [unquote] on my list, because from my personal perspective they are all equally problematic -- but I'll begin with the one that appears to be the largest elephant in the room for the majority of other reviewers: the "glare-reduction interior visor"...As seems to be the common consensus among other reviewers, the designers of this helmet seemed to have understood the importance of incorporating a sun shield into their helmet, especially considering the fact that most helmets make wearing an independent set of sunshades underneath a motorcycle helmet a very uncomfortable experience that many riders may simply choose to forego altogether... but at the same time they did not seem to spend any time understanding the importance of having such a shield that extends far enough downward that the rider is not essentially required to ride with his/her head constantly tilted in a forward direction to where they practically have to view the road ahead of them from the top of their eyelids. It also doesn't help that the raising/lowering tab for this visor is difficult to locate and operate.Another issue which is also showing up as a common complaint is the extremely loud and annoying "whistling" that occurs whenever you decide to lift the main face shield and allow some cooling air to rush over you... not that this will be a problem for you to have to deal with for very long anyway, because once you've been traveling up to speed for any decent amount of time, the visor is so loosely set that any wind you generate WILL soon enough slam the shield back down in front of your face ~ Wash/Rinse/Repeat!And this leads directly to my next issue: this face shield *LOVES* to come detached from its housing... often at inopportune moments! I've had face shield detachment issues with other 3/4-face helmets in the past, but this one is HYPER-sensitive in this regard! So this one is a toss-up -- if you're looking at this from strictly a budgetary standpoint and you think you can tolerate these annoyances... well, just take my review for what you think may be valuable in helping you make that decision: I cannot put forth a "recommendation" one way or the other.
