The output pipe is 8mm in diameter. The original Bosch one was 10mm (7/16) probably. You may need to cut an inch off the old hose for it to be tight on the new valve. FYI. All dimensions are OD of the pipe and not the Barb on the end.For fun, I dissected the failed valve. Basically the rubber plunger that opens and closes deteriorates over time. No way to fix that as you have to destroy the valve to open it.For the record, my issue was VERY slow fill rate. This will be evident as your time to complete wash gets longer over time. ( the washer apparently recalculates every time)Hope this helps.Grant

My Bosch SHE3AR55UC/08 leaked from the water inlet on the left side of the wall. After some research on the internet, I have determined that the water inlet valve was the problem. The OEM part costs (including shipping) $60. Luckily, I found this aftermarket replacement part and ordered it right away. It arrived as promised. It looks exactly like the OEM part on the dishwasher. The installation was straightforward, although the tight space caused some difficulty. The leak was fixed and my dishwasher works properly.Note that the spring type hose clamp lost pressure after installation and causing a slow leak from the polymer inlet hose. I bought a common hose clamp (1/4” - 5/8” range, $0.79) from a local hardware store and fixed the problem.

You'd need some decent plumbing know how but easy enough to replace it on our bosch dishwasher. I'd recommend getting either new seals or a new supply hose when doing this replacement along with teflon tape. Otherwise you might see some weeping/leaks from the joints

Not much to say, our Bosch dishwasher stopped filling with water. There appears to be no safety switch that detects that the fill valve is defective and troubleshooting amounts to checking in coming water pressure, which was OK in my case. The valve arrived on time, was an exact fit and works like a charm. Dishwasher model it was used on is a SHX46A05UC/30. Certainly worth trying if you are looking at this part.

I have a Bosch SilencePlus SHE43R55UC/64. One night the drain wouldn’t stop running and then water started slowly coming out on the floor in front of the dishwasher. I turned off the water supply and the leak stopped. This lead me to believe the issue was the water inlet valve. I found some videos online on how to replace it and was able to do it without pulling out the dishwasher. After I replaced it, there was no leak but the dishwasher still drained non-stop when I pressed the power button because the leak had filled up the lower catch basin with water. There’s a sensor there that activates the drain when there’s too much water in it so I had to get the water out before I was able to run the dishwasher on again.

Fixed my problem (no water coming through valve) second week of December 2021. Today (02/19/2022) same problem. This part lasted two months. I have to reorder anyway. Maybe Appliancemate will help. I'll update later.2/21 Did a little cleanup in the dishwasher and a load just washed fine. I have ordered the part again just in case.
