Boon Serve Baby Feeding Spoons, Blue/Orange/Green, (Pack of 3)

With our first, I used the plastic munchkin brand baby spoons. They were ok and were used A LOT for three years. One irritating thing is when you filled the spoon and laid it across the bowl, the design of the spoon would make the spoon roll onto into front and dump the food off the spoon. :/ There are deep plastic chew marks where teeth were sunk into the handle, the tips are scratched and worn. I threw them out. With our second, I figured new spoons were in order. I did some research....a lot of baby spoons out there. I'm a little more health conscious now so I figured I wouldn't go with plastic again and maybe do silicone ones. I bought three spoons to try. They are WONDERFUL! I've bought a second pack now. They wash great in dishwasher. They haven't stained yet. They are lightweight and not bulky. They are pleasant translucent unisex colors. Our baby loves to use these part way thru meal times to chew on the silicone handle part or even the flexible silicone tip. The spoon is easy for him to hold (6.5 months). It is much more hygienic than plastic because teeth marks and scratches don't happen to silicone. The flexible spoon tip is great for scraping food in glass baby bowls. The size of the spoon is perfect for a baby mouth and seems gentle on gums for introducing food to a hesitant learning mouth. The silicone grips the food gently so you don't have liquidy pastes sliding right off the spoon before it gets to baby, so you don't have to hold the spoon gingerly to keep puréed food on. There is only a faint seam running down the handle part of the spoon, not on the mouth part, so there are no irritating or sharp edges for baby's tongue. And when you lay the spoon across the top of the bowl.....it doesn't roll over!! Hard to believe so much thought goes into a spoon, but this Boon spoon was well thought out for sure! I'm very happy with this product. (I paid in full for these spoons, both sets....my review is non biased.)

Green, Orange and Blue. Fresh pure shades just as pictured. We used the tip of the spoon to feed my 7 month old until she got the hang of opening wider for a bigger bite.I would say they are average size in comparison to most other baby spoons on the market with a shallower scoop perhaps. The handles are slim (I like this so I can easily fit them anywhere and they are easy for my girl to grip and teeth on if I let her) and inflexible with a stiff plastic core. No crevices. Very lightweight. Matte but smooth silicone (which is better in my opinion than the shiny silicone most other spoons are made from as those tend to grip fabric and gather lint and hair if they touch clothing or hit the floor). Flexible scoop.There's a flat bit on the bottom so the spoon wont roll off the edge of a jar or table. Easy to clean though dried on food gets a little grip.Wonderful. Portable. I love these spoons! They have long handles that make feeding easier. They are made of silicone, so they are soft and rubbery. The size is good for babies learning to eat. I am using them with my 6 month old who is just starting solids. I have been happy with other Boon products as well. Good quality brand.The only issue I had with these is that one of the three had a handle that was slightly bent.

I absolutely love this brand!!! When I found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted all things boon! I love the colors and convenience of their designs. I have been stocking up on all their products since I found out and as my little one grows. I love the long handles. My little one immediately grabbed the spoon and tried to feed himself. I was afraid he would stab himself but the softness kept him from hurting himself. I wish it would have some of the features of some of the other styles of baby spoons like color changing with temperature or travel cases but I still love them.

My daughter started using these spoons at 4 months, and they have been perfect for her. She's now 6 months old, has two bottom teeth, loves to chew on EVERYTHING (including these spoons, on which she bites down while eating), and these spoons are still in excellent condition. I put them in the dishwasher after each use, too. Somebody mentioned that s/he would have preferred a wider, deeper spoon, but I actually like that these are shallow and narrow because they work better for feeding a baby who is just starting to learn how to eat from a spoon. Also, there are no rough edges like some silicone spoons have, and the length is perfect for feeding a young baby. Really, I can't think of a single negative other than maybe a tendency to stain, but I don't really care about that anyway - and it's pretty much a given that silicone will stain. Perhaps these won't work great later on when she's feeding herself because they are long and thin, but I'm hoping that by then she can start using the original stainless steel baby spoons I had bought before she was born that are short and wide. For now, I love these!

Two kids later and I still think these are the best feeding spoons! Perfect introductory spoons for babies just starting to eat solids. They are extra long, shallow, and soft.

These are super nice for feeding with the long handle and grip right where you need it. I only wish that they were just a bit softer on the edges. I think they are probably perfect for babies older than six months, but I prefer something softer for beginning feedings. Will definitely hold on to them for when the little one is a few months older.

I've worked in childcare for almost 10 years, so I've used a lot of baby feeding spoons. These my favorite! It's a great size- it holds a good amount of food, but it's small enough for beginning eater. It's incredible at scraping jars, bowls, and baby's messy face. It's comfortable for me to use and I'm happy it's made with silicone instead of plastic or synthetic rubber. I've never been more happy with a spoon, and I'm back to buy more!

Las compre porque quería cucharas de silicona para postres, me han sido muy útiles aunque si se manchan un poco.

La entrega fue a tiempo y muy bien empaquetado. Las cucharas son muy bonitas pero al venir en la descripcion q eran de silicon esperaba q no fueran tan duras. A pesar de ello es un buen producto
