The Testament Of Solomon

Makes a nice addition to my collection.

Shorter, small and flater than I expected but really good. I recommend have a dictionary for those who are not used to "biblical" or "old" writing. The book that I got is a softcover

This is a great work that is important in a number of ways. This book is significantly older than the vast majority of occult works, dating back to the First Century. The bulk of the text is dedicated to the description of various demons or spirits. This is set withing a framing story of King Solomon and his control over the demons. That story about Solomon traces back to various Jewish and Christian legends and is referenced in the Quran. So, it has a little bit for everyone.

Very interesting and an easy, quick read. It was great to read this while I was reading Goetia, The Lesser Key of Solomon because it gave me a better idea of the context and intent of Goetia.

Been waiting on this book a while and I need it for courses I'm taking. Quality is good for a paperback. The publishing date printed on the last page is curious though, as it's dated 2 days before it was delivered and printed in a tiny town a few hours away from me. So that's interesting.Thelema and Crowley fans need this staple of a book.

Being fond of Tarl's YouTube videos, his books are no less valuable in terms of insight and depth. I highly recommend The Testament of Solomon; a wonderful testament of Antiquity.

Read his testimony and learned quite a bit on some of the history of King Solomon. The cover is like a rubber like texture? Can't explain it. Anywho, good book for its purpose. Would reccomend to anyone just wanting to learn a bit about King Solomon.

This book is short but fascinating; it also makes for a decent bookmark. If you are not adept at reading more antiquated language I would recommend having a dictionary near you while reading this. There are definitely some words in it that you never see used today.

Quite amusing at times a must have book along with the greater and lesser keys of Solomon.

Firstly, the book is really tiny with just 50 pages, it resembles an electronic appliance instruction manual. However, nothing misleading here as the details clearly state that it's just 50 pages at a cheap price as compared to the other authors. Secondly, but most importantly, this is really not for beginniners or the novice, as the author (all due respects to his work) has done a rush job in writing this book with archaic English, commonly used in the early medical times. Only someone with a background of basic occult knowledge should go for it. The reason being is that the author has translated the 'testament' verbatim and not gone into the details or provide a synopsis of the conversation between the demons and King Solomon, leaving the reader to depend on other materials for detailed understanding. However, for someone who wishes to start on the intensive studies of grimores, this should be the best and cheap start to understanding the origins of conjurings, as it predated the 'Lesser Keys' and all associated works.
