Newlywed Couple's Devotional: 52 Weeks of Everyday Scripture, Reflections, and Prayers for a God-Centered Marriage

My girlfriend has moved in with me and we wanted to get closer to God and to improve our relationship. This book is a God-sent, the advice given is so good and backed by scripture. Neither of us were very religious but this book has made us feel far closer to God than any preacher or church. I truly wish to give my honest thanks to the authors of this book. We are only on week 5 but we look forward to every day where we will spend time together and discuss the questions and read the advice.

This book is a wonderful weekly devotional for Christian Newlyweds.

My hubby and I love this devotional. We do it every Sunday and feel that it is making us closer and stronger as a couple with God at the center of our relationship. The prompts are really good and make for fun conversation!

I have gone through many pages of this book before leaving a review because I like to be honest in them. And let me say, this is a WONDERFUL couple devotional whether you have been recently married or married for twenty-five years like my husband and me. It makes you think through or talk about things maybe you never have. It doesn't have to be uncomfortable, and it doesn't take a lot of time. It's usually just about a page and a half for each devotional. We have just been doing one a week. The couple who wrote this, Chris and Jamie Bailey, have a heart for marriages to stay together. I follow them on Instagram and listen to their podcast. I ended up getting to meet them a few months ago, and they are the real deal - have heart for the Lord, know they (and all of us) are not perfect, make you laugh with their fun antics, and just truly want us to "enjoy the journey" of marriage.

I gave this to a new friend for her and her and her groom, and she told me that they are reading it together and love it!

Ok, so, I LOVE THIS BOOK!I got it as a Christmas gift for my husband, so that we can start going through it together in the New Year. Of course, I sat down and started reading it when it came in, because what else do you do when you get a new book?The things I love about it...1) it's once a week. No matter how busy you are, you can find 20-30 minutes, one time a week, if it's really important to you.2) the devotionals are SHORT. Like, the longest is maybe 2 pages? But they are easy to read AND3) they are actionable! There's no guess work left, "what do we do now?" feeling after you finish the entry for the day. There's homework, but nothing is left up in the air... which is good for me!Chris and Jamie are so real, and I am very grateful for all of the heart work and hard work that they put into this!PS, did you know they have a podcast??!

Purchased for my brother and his wife and they loved it.

The product came just as it was suppose to. More importantly though this devotional is a GAME CHANGER! I highly recommend it for any couples even if not newlyweds. There is so much truth and opportunities for growth just from this weekly devotion.
