Current Date Codes - Made in Thailand
Sumitomo Encounter ATPleasantly surprised for the price.Tread depth and tread pattern look great!Very current manufacturing date!I typically run Michelin tires. I'll switch all of my work trucks to Sumitomo if they last at least 35,000 miles or more.To be continued....

Impressed!
Installed on my Nissan Titan about a week ago and so far very impressed with these especially at this price point. Replaced a set of BF Goodrich, which were quite loud. These are much quieter in comparison. Also ride quality is great so far. Like the all-terrain look of these without being overly agressive. Have a road trip planned soon, so looking forward to seeing how these do.

Home Run !
I shopped hard and no one could touch Amazons price on pretty much every tire i looked at.These are now on my 2008 Nissan Titan replacing Good Year Wrangler ATV.-Ride i think is incredible and my wife noticed right away-Gas milege went up 2 mpg-Less noise than any other blocky truck tire i've owned, not bad at all-Got in one wet snowfall of about 7" and hardly knew it was there, right up our 20 degree driveway in 4 wheel and didn't break loose at all- The ONE negative. I notice over sizable bumps especially on the highway the truck doesn't recover as quick as i'd like and feel loss of ground contact / chop- I would buy again in a heartbeat ! Size is 275 / 18/ 60-Also, the ratings on Tire Rack show these right up with the finest they sell

Good all terrain at a reasonable price
Sumitomo is the parent company to Falken, you’re getting a good, solid well built tire, for less money. They’re quiet, comfortable, and hold well, I will note they are a little on the heavy side, and setting the bead was a bit tricky, the sidewall didn’t want to cooperate, so I had to get creative, once seated balancing was fine, pretty standard fair with a larger than OE tire, so if you’re looking for a good all terrain at a reasonable price, get these

Good overall, not on ice
It’s safe to say I have some experience driving on icy roads living in the northeast and Alaska for several years. These tires ride good, quiet, handle well in the wet and decent in snow. The biggest downfall of this tire for me is on ice. I’m pretty sure it’s more to do with the rubber compound more than anything but these are probably the worst I’ve experienced. We’ve had little snow this year so far but 2 ice storms and I can say the falkens, Yokohamas, and coopers I’ve had all in similar conditions gripped better than these. I plan on running them until there’s no tread left still because they’re good everywhere else but I think I’ll look for something more suited for ice next time.

Awesome so far
2000 miles on them so far and love them. Tread still looks brand new, no issues in rain or anywhere. Would definitely recommend

Like this Japanese made tires so well bought them for another truck
Like the ride, like the tread grip and the fact they are made in Japan with superior stainless steel belts. And they look good on truck too.
