Alba Botanica Very Emollient Body Wash, Island Citrus, 32 Oz (Packaging May Vary)

Alba is one of my favorite hair products for me and my daughter! We use alba everything from face wash to conditioner! It is a thick conditioner but it is good for moisturizing your hair, it smells great, it’s pretty clean products (other than the fragrance used in some) and the quality is amazing. I’ve used other shampoos and conditioners and nothing compares or helps the knots of my thick long hair like alba does!

I have very dry, sensitive skin. I also am very sensitive to synthetic or perfume smells.Alba Very Emolient body wash is the only body wash I have found that doesn't make my skin feel tight after I shower. The smells are so clean and don't give me a headache or make me itch at all. If you have similar skin or smell sensitivity, you know what I mean. If not, I envy you!Anyway, I have been using the honey mango for some time and it smells great. I came across the herbal healing so thought I would try it and I like it even better. It feels nice, smells nice, and again doesn't give me a headache or make me feel nauseous or itchy. I will continue to use this product.

I love the citrus fragrance, its ph balanced, not drying. Been using this product for years, only body wash I'll use, love it! Very gentle, but cleans great.

I don't know why I love this stuff so much, but I do. I get one of these giant bottles, and then when it's gone, I think, "I'll just get something at the grocery store this time." Then I use whatever I got at the store and hate it, and immediately go buy another ginormous bottle of this stuff. It seems weird to be attached to a body wash, but I guess I am.I find the mint scent refreshing, but it's not at all overpowering. I tend to be sensitive to that and some soaps and lotions can give me a headache because of the scent. That's never an issue with this.I also love the pump nozzle. It's just so convenient!I've been using this product for a few years now, through a couple of different bottle design changes, and the product is always reliably good. It's definitely my go-to body wash.

I enjoy Alba shower gel it lathers up really well and not overly perfumes

I love the smell of this body wash and the creamy texture. The smell lingers for a little while after showering. The packaging was great. No product spilled in the box.

The smell is actually really nice - my fiance loves it - and it doesn't linger on skin too long but it does make the bathroom smell amazing. I love having a large pump bottle like this in the shower, and it will last me a long time. (I actually kind of regret getting such a big bottle now before testing it)Only 3 stars because I do not think it's great for skin. I think it's causing me to break out on my arms and legs and giving me KP or just clogged pores or an allergic reaction or something. My skin feels tight when I wash it off. There are some days when I notice my skin IS softer after using it, but it's not like its a "moisturizing" body wash and is making my skin amazingly better. Maybe the extra perfumes are annoying my skin, but I definitely notice more red spots and chicken skin (on places I've never gotten before!) when I use this. I actively avoid it if I'm shaving.Just a heads up for those on the search for the perfect body wash. I'd say keep looking - this ain't it.

This is my absolute favorite soap I've ever used!I've been using this soap for probably 5 years and I just love it. It tingles on my skin, which feels nice in a hot shower... and the tingle lingers beyond my shower.In the morning, I'll hit my snooze button 3 times dreading getting out of my warm, comfy bed, but when I finally drag my tired butt into the shower and this soap hits my senses, it really does wake me up. Not only the tingle on my skin, but that refreshing mint smell... by the time I'm done showering, I'm awake, alert, and ready to face the day!It's also great on dry skin. I have very dry skin, and used to get cracks on my knuckles and elbows... but since I've used this soap, I don't get those dry cracks in my skin. I also use it on my face, and it doesn't dry my face out. It leaves my skin tingling, refreshed, feeling clean all day.My dog has super itchy skin, and I've tried absolutely everything under the sun to help ease his itchiness (he has allergies) and this is the first soap that has given him relief -- except the medicated shampoos that have unhealthy/toxic ingredients... which I've completely stopped using now that I've found this to work for him. I'm just super careful not to get it in his eyes, because it is really minty, and would probably sting.There are now 3 of us using this soap (including the dog), I shower daily, the other person showers 3 or 4 times a week, and the dog twice a month (he's 70 lbs and furry) and one bottle lasts us about 3 months. It goes a LOT further if you use a washcloth to lather up your body.I don't know what I'd do if they stopped making this soap, it's irreplaceable!

I have used this product many times before and absolutely love it. I decided to treat myself but much to my disappointment the product arrived and there's something wrong with it. It was extremely watery and a dark yellowy-taupe colour. Not at all how it's supposed to be.

Love this shower gel but can't risk buying again. Nice and creamy, smells great but it takes about one month from ordering to receiving and not a small amount of reviewers have said it was delivered broken. Even though mine was not broken I just can't wait a month for delivery and to many reviewers have stated there's was delivered broken. If I waited a month and received a damaged product I would be devastated so I'm not going to risk it. As a product though it is excellent.

Wife here - I love the scent. Smells so fresh, a mix of orange, lemon, grapefruit. If you like a citrus this one is good. It makes my skin feel soft. Will definitely order this again.UPDATE- Ordered it again. I tried others for a few months, but I wasnt happy. I loved the smell and my skin feels so soft. This is now the only body wash for me.

I bought this with great expectations as I love Alba products. This one was disappointing because there was absolutely no lathering or foam. It was thin and watery and had no gel like consistency you would expect from a “shower gel”. The other issue was the smell. I think the bottle I received was old stock that had expired. It smelled of rancid coconut oil on top of a strong floral scent which did not mimic tuberose. The manufacturing date was 2020 with a shelf life of 12 months. It’s now 2022. Do the math. I had to return this. It’s too bad as it was a nice big bottle.
