I wasn't expecting that. Definitely captivating and story driven. I couldn't put it down. It had drama, violence, romance, murder and the tension was up there.Good characters and dialogue and it left me wanting more.Well worth a look if you like mafia romances with grit and story driven.Looking forward to part two

But - although I really enjoyed the story the mistakes were really annoying , how hard is it to get someone to read a book before it is printed ?

Arranged marriage trope is one of my favourites in mafia books and with this being my introduction to Bree Porters books I felt that it was a great start. I think what I liked most was the potential that the characters could have and what their story could lead. It’s easy to have a capo who is fierce but Sophia was the more captivating character for me. She’s a heroine that I felt was strong in the sense that she had fight in her and was willing to make her Mark and I’m just a sucker for a strong female character in any book especially this genre. The ending I wasn’t expecting so that’s always great when you can be surprised be a book. I was more than willing to read the rest of the series to see what happens.

I absolutely love the Rocchetti Dynasty series! Although it starts off like a typical mafia romance where the girl is married off to the scary mafia guy with no say in the decision it is definitely not the usual mafia book.Sophia Rocchetti is a queen! She starts of very meek and afraid of her husband. But you can also tell she is not stupid. She has been brought up in the mafia world and she knows how she needs to behave to survive. Throughout the book you see her real personality slowly start to unveil and you can see she has the power to thrive in this world. Alessandro is known as a monster and he definitely has that hard and brutal personality but you can also tell there is so much more to him that is hidden and not yet revealed.This book starts off with action from chapter one and does not slow down. There are so many parts at play from the FBI to family discontent that you can tell things are going to get worse before they get better. The book also has one hell of a revelation that just makes the anticipation for the next book so much better!

I was intrigued by this book however, the more I read the less I liked it. The conversation between characters was very formal and stiff. I couldn't take anymore and gave up.

Wow what a story !! I loved the characters and I felt sorry for Sophia. This mafia romance ticks so many boxes. Loved Alessandro, he is a capo and a bad boy. Their relationship was on fire and those scenes between them were hot as hell. What can I say, can't wait to read book 2 and 3. Thanks Bree !!

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were great the story went at a good pace. Now straight on to read the next one. I have found a new author I like a lot. Great writing thank you.

After reading this book for hours I’m furious 😡 to find this book just ends so abruptly no hfn or hea! Like it just ended on nothing! Not even a note saying “next book out etc”! Nothing! I feel this has let this author down as it’s only when u download it that it says it’s book 1 of Dynasty series! Well here goes: the book was easy to read(if u ignore lot of spelling & grammar mistakes), with an excellent storyline to it, good characters but not in way you’d normally find and this difference was actually quite intriguing cus u dint know wot to expect! apparently this is a new author so note to her: let people know if it’s a cliffhanger and when next book is approximately due else people won’t bother with it.. that wud be a shame cus it has potential to be a great series! Would be nice to know ages of the main characters too.. I wudnt bother again after that ending as I’ve found next book from authors can be as long as 12 months away! but I will in this case as it is a good read and hopefully we’ll get the next book soon! I’d highly recommend it if we don’t have long to wait so come on miss porter tell us when!
