I bought this sander because I saw a program on the Science Channel about how it is made. I was mightly impressed. When compared to the other sanders I checked out (all costing less), I knew why this one costs as much as it does. If you want a tool to last your lifetime, this is the one. It is a work of art as well as a perfect tool.

I spent many hours researching on the web and on forums. This is an awesome tool. Amazon had the best price anywhere and shipped it immediately. They continue to impress more and more. The sander is very high quality and I will be using it for years to come.

I use it every day at the body shop. Let’s see how long it will last.

This is the 2nd one I have purchased. The last one lasted 15 years. I used it alot. Hope this one last good.

This is the second one for me. The other was back in 2007. The 07 one lasted about 6 months, but kicked ass until it didn't. I've been in business for 15 years and in my line of work for 30 years. I use devillbiss water traps along with ceramic bead traps. I tend to over oil tools because I hate failure. Because I do fiberglass repair I used these types of tools for hours at a time on a somewhat regular basis. This one went out in 5 months. When contacting seller they said they couldn't help me and I was told to contact manufacturer. Hutchins lectured me on water issues blah blah blah. I had time to send it in for warranty, but put in my pile of over priced tools that can't hold up to real work. I went back to the copy ingersoll rand from Dura block. These last about a year and I can buy four of these for the price of one Hutchins's.
