A good looking hat that makes a statement. Very well made.

First off, this is black, as per the text, and not red, as in the picture.I followed the sizing chart and ordered XXL. Far too big, I should have ordered Large. I loved it, but my wife didn't like the brim, so I sent it back (excellent return policy) and ordered a different style.

I have a rare disease which requires me to wear a hat. I recently got married with a big fancy reception, and this hat was absolutely perfect. The build quality is great and I couldn't have expected anything more.

Do not buy this hat. I did not get it from Amazon; I bought it directly from Bailey. It is an overpriced, floppy piece of junk. I have bought "costume" hats from Stacy Adams and Scala, and "real" hats from Christy's of London and Hills Hats of New Zealand. Most of the costume hats are OK, and I wear them daily with my suits to work. (My wife thinks I'm eccentric, but I get plenty of complements from other attractive, middle-aged women.). This Bailey's hat was misshapen from the start, necessitating many hours with a steamer to even approximate a normal shape. Then, when I got it wet in a Florida rainstorm, it became completely unusable. A real fur homburg costs $300 NZ = a little less than $200 US from Hills Hats in New Zealand. I bought a grey Churchill homburg from them and get compliments everywhere I go. I just donated the Bailey homburg to the Salvation Army. It was completely unusable. Save your money. This hat is an overpriced piece of costume junk. Do not waste your money.

On the site there was no way to choose a head size I needed a large but was sent x large otherwise a lovely hat
