I was getting a check engine light on my 2007 Lexus RX350, the code said Misfire cylinder#2, Replaced Spark #2, switched ingition coils, still said Misfire cylinder #2,the weird thing is that Everytime I would go to erase the code my scanner would say,"Are you sure you want to erase this Emissions Code?"So I checked the purge valve and it was working correctly, so I purchased this Gas Cap and no more check engine light for over a month now, I can only assume that the check valve inside of the old gas cap was stuck open allowing unmetered Air into the Intake manifold 🤔

I ordered this Gas Cap[ for the 2010 Toyota 4Rummer after my Check Light came on. The Dealer want $35 dollars for their gas copy. This gas cap was advertised as being compatible to Toyota 2010 4Rumnners. It fit perfectly and was very easy to install. I'm Happy and my Check Light stayed off. If you have a Toyota 2010 4Runner and is looking for a gas cap, this one will work.

Bought it, installed it on my 2010 FJ cruiser, and in one short drive is was hissing and leaking gas. I could smell it and hear it as I approached the rear of the car. This will do damage to most modern cars, due to the complex emission systems, and it is typically a very expensive repair. In fact, in certain location this might be illegal due to pollution rules. It also might be dangerous, as the gas vapor was very strong around the rear of the car. I would call it a "fake", but I guess it is a "gas cap". Just a very bad one.

We had to replace our fuel cap because again thieves stole our fuel cap. This was Amazon’s choice and it’s a good choice and a good price. Works great I’d recommend.

The only reason why I gave 3 stars is bc even though it works perfectly fine for my car, my engine light did not go away, it’s been 2 months and the engine light is still on. I went to diagnose my engine light twice and came back as loose gas cap. It says that it fits a Lexus rx350 but according my car it doesn’t fit?

Was tight when it was new but I was able to get rid of engine light after installing this..

I bought this cap for my 2009 Venza to replace an old cap. The engine light came on immediately and I didn’t even think of the possibility of the cap being faulty. Fast forwarding a month, I finally booked in for a check up, and with a smoke test the cap was leaking like you wouldn’t believe. Terrible! Worst part is of course I can’t return it now as the window has closed.
