I’ve to get my car smogged to renew the registration in 3 weeks. Wouldn’t u know it, my check engine light comes on yesterday. For a while now, my gas cap doesn’t stop turning after clicking, just keeps clicking and turning. Suspecting I’m not getting a pressurized seal, I ordered this cap yesterday. Perfect fit
I was actually nervous buying a gas cap unseen. However, is worked perfectly. The seal is excellent, it fits perfectly with an air tight seal. Used for a 2016 Hyundai Accent.

A Necessary Part
My original gas cap broke, and I was happy to see that I could find the exact replacement here on Amazon. Its pretty self explanatory how to reconnect it, and I have had no issues with it since purchasing. Its incredible sturdy and is exactly how the original part is.

BEWARE! This is not an OEM part, will cause Check Engine Light to come on
I bought this gas cap to replace the one on my Hyundai Tucson because the cord attachment had broken on mine. This gas cap is poor quality and caused the Check Engine Light to come on. Do not buy this product. Spend the extra money and buy a real OEM part.
