I have been making individual decoupage boxes to hold the fragile ornaments and gifts I have made for my family for the holidays. These are the perfect size and strength for those containers. They are very well made, and hold the lids securely. I’m very pleased with their performance! They were an excellent economic choice for bulk purchase.

I purchased these hinges for hobby woodworking and making small, hinged boxes. The antique looks great. The hinge pin seems a little flimsy, but knowing they are not meant for very heavy use they worked out just fine for the memory box I made. Overall, I was satisfied with the product.

Good product. Made from sheet metal that is on the thinner side, but entirely adequate for their size. If you want the highest possible quality, you probably need to purchase a much more expensive hinge.

I was building cigar box jewelry boxes. The hinges were color appropriate to the picture, actually built a bit better than I thought they would be for being this small.

Sure these are lightweight hinges but they are made for small boxes. For the price you might get two or three pair at the hardware store. I like the colour and the size of them. I read that people had trouble with the screws breaking. I used them on hard maple and had no trouble. Just drill a big enough pilot hole and they go in easy.
