Sunny IsleShea Coconut Moisturizing Shampoo Infused with Jamaican Black Castor Oil 12oz

I have longer hair with Mixed ethnicity. This seems to clean my hair real well and give it volume.

I have SISTERLOCKS so technically moisturizing shampoos are a no, no but I wanted this because sometimes I feel my hair does need some moisture.I ordered this knowing this wouldn’t be something I would use regularly but from time to time so my hair could have moisture during shampoos since I usually use shampoos that strip my hair from build up.Anyway, with that being said, I really do like this shampoo. I was initially wondering if my hair would have to be shampoo’d twice before it lathered. Nope, it lathered up on the first go round to my surprise.I usually wash my hair twice, mainly because it takes two washings for it to lather up. Since this shampoo lathered up really nicely the first time I felt it did a good job cleaning my hair so I only washed it once. Not only that, since this is a moisturizing shampoo and I have locs, I really didn’t want to have to wash it twice.My hair felt very clean, once again to my surprise since I usually use tea tree oil or apple cider vinegar to rid my hair of build up. I didn’t feel the need to do that with this shampoo. My pics were soft as well.Anyway, I am very happy with this shampoo. It has a light, pleasant smell.I would recommend. 👍🏾

Crystal clear and lightly scented of shea this is a nice shampoo. I usually use voluminizing shampoo and conditioner. Because this is a moisturizing shampoo I did not use the conditioner and I was able to get my comb through my hair after washing with this shampoo but even tho my hair was silkier than using my voluminizing shampoo, I still feel that a conditioner is needed. The shampoo hardly suds on the first wash and with the second application of shampoo, Sunny Isle shampoo did give me a great lather that I used to wash my body and even used the lather to shave my legs! The bottle has an easy open flip top. The bottle is hard plastic so you will need flip it upside down and let gravity do it’s work to get the last dregs out of the bottle. The shampoo alone without conditioner or sprays left my hair soft and shiny!

This shampoo with shea and coconut is a real treat for my hair. First of all, it smells great. I wouldn't mind if the scent was a little stronger, but as it is, the scent is fairly light so my husband is happy to use this shampoo, too. It lathers well and leaves my hair feeling perfectly clean, yet it also leaves my hair feeling soft and manageable. I suppose the softness comes from the shea butter, coconut oil and castor oil, yet my hair doesn't feel oily or greasy at all, just clean and soft with a light coconut scent. All the ingredients seem balanced very nicely. I also love that this product helps out rural Jamaican farmers. That's a real bonus and a great feeling!
