My 11 month old no longer will sit in her bathing seat, she wants to either stand or sit in the regular tub. This mat gave me peace of mind when she stood up as well as sits in the tub (she's not sliding around all slippery) it sparked her interest to allow her to sit down and look at all the colorful fish which is a plus too. As another reviewer mentioned, it does have a skunky smell but I imagine it will go away with time. I'd be nice if the mat were a bit larger but because it's so colorful and interesting my daughter stays on top of it

It had a terrible chemical smell when I opened it, but it reminded me of the smell of my grandparents' bath mats from days of old, so I figured it was just normal. After about 5 days, the smell dissipated, but for the first couple of days, with our bathroom door closed most of the time, it smelled like a skunk when we went in the bathroom (actually my wife thought a skunk had died at first, she couldn't figure out the smell). The suction cups don't work on textures, which is not a surprise (though I was surprised that my tub was textured, wish we had checked before buying this). I tried to lay it flat anyway, but since it shipped in a roll, it just rolls back on itself, so really pretty much useless to me at this point. The only reason I don't send it back is that it clearly stated in the advertisement that it wouldn't stick to textures, and that is my fault for not checking first. The 3 stars is just for the smell...it's that bad.

I wasn't going to buy this because of the reviews of bad smell. But I saw the following post from seller in all caps- ODOR ISSUES REFLECTED IN THE REVIEWS HAVE BEEN RESOLVED! THE ODOR ISSUE WAS RELATED TO A DISCONTINUED VARIATION OF THIS PRODUCT THAT IS NO LONGER OFFERED. Wrrrong! Arrived today. Smells like a skunk just like reviews say. How dare they have above post that is a lie, just to sell a few more. I love the pattern but it needs to be just a little bigger. Too skinny. Some reviews say the smell dissipates...hope they are right.

Really poor quality. It arrived with some type of stains all over the back that look like rust or dirt and the smell!!!! It smells just like a CPR mannequin. It's so strong that I could smell it from a different floor of my house. I'll be sending this back immediately for a refund. Don't waste your money on this. It's a piece of junk and also way smaller than a regular bathtub size.

I love this bath mat. It's cute, playful and gets the job done! The only thing that I wish was different is that the suction cups on the bottom always slide and come up. They don't stick very well.With that being said, I've been using this may every day for a month now and no one has fallen and my son loves it.It fits my tub perfectly and I would totally recommend this to all my friends and family.

My wife and I were looking to update some items in our bathroom like the shower curtain, bath mat, rugs, etc.. We came across this bath mat and decided to order it which we don't normally do. It was a smooth process from start to finish.Our concern was to make sure it was exactly as advertised as we had a bath mat that we weren't very happy with because it kept sliding in the tub when we gave our kids a bath or took a shower. We have had this mat now for over a week and both my wife and I are completely satisfied with it and our kids love it!It has a great color scheme and it really stands out for the kids! We don't normally do reviews but this is a great buy and works perfectly as described. We recommend this to any family looking to update their items for the bathroom or replace that old moldy mat that won't stay in place anymore.

Bought this for our kids bathroom and very disappointed. I clean the tub every week and when I removed the mat, it had a horrible odor. It smelt like plastic and was very overpowering. The next week, I removed it from the tub to clean and it was covered in black mold and slimy. The smell was horrible. I will never buy this product again. the suction was ok, but the fact that it got moldy in a tub makes me very uneasy about this product. The smell from the moment I received it to the moment I threw it away was always there. Will not purchase again.

I normally read the reviews but I was in such a need for a mat I went with my eyes only. At first look this is so cute for kids. When I got it and opened it I was miserable! Oh the stank. It smells HORRIBLE. I mean a strong, lingering smell that will not air out but instead penetrate your furniture and other items you set it on. I have a newborn at home and now I'm terrified that he inhaled any chemicals this may might have. I plan on a full return. Please don't waste your time. This company deserves to do better for their customers because this product can't be healthy for our kids.
