Love and Monsters

Great family movie night. Its been a while since we've watched a new movie we could all enjoy together. I have a 6 year old and even she enjoyed it. My 10 yr old son loved it. Hoping for a sequel.

Dylan O'Brien delivered in this witty, action-packed movie that will have you biting your nails one second and laughing the next. Though reminiscent of "Zombieland", the monsters in this post-apocalyptic satire are much more entertaining and divergent than those boring zombies. It's definitely a movie I can see myself revisiting...tonight with my wife.

Dylan O’Brien never fails! Excellent movie, even better than I expected. Fantastic imagery, amazing acting, and overall a win in every way. Finally an original movie with a unique storyline.I was expecting a movie for young adults but it wasnt, I think it was a great movie for anyone and shockingly it even had a tear jerker moment.10/10 wouldn’t change anything and 100% worth it to buy rather than rent. I will definitely watch again!

It might very well be a good movie. I've heard good things about it. I've got Amazon Prime for the month so I thought I'd try it. Now my internet connection is fast enough for streaming and I've never had any issues with Hulu, Netflix, Vudu, Fandango, or any other apps for streaming. I guess it comes with the territory of trying something new, but paying $25 to own a digital movie that is absolutely unwatchable due to buffering and then when it does load, having the video and sound be a good 30 seconds apart (at least) is not what I expected. This is why I will not bother keeping Prime. And this is why I will never buy another digital video from Amazon again. I'll stick with Vudu and Fandango thank you very much.

Love and Monsters is set seven years after the monster apocalypse with 95% of the world’s population gone. It follows Joel Dawson who leaves his colony to travel approximately 85 miles to get to his high school sweetheart’s colony. Along the way he meets an Australian kelpie named Boy who helps him along the journey. He also meets eight year old Minnow and her guardian Clyde. Both of them are wise to the current world and offer Joel some important rules to live by. The movie offers some much needed entertainment for everyone you can watch again and again. It is definitely a must see movie. I've seen some bad reviews and I'm left wondering if we saw the same movie or not. The one I saw was awesome and left me with a sense of absolute delight. You’ll laugh and smile throughout the movie.

Like, Dylan O'Brien and the cast were the main reason I was excited to watch this, but seriously, its such a good film, ya'll. I cant even. The whole crew and cast did such an amazing job with this, and I can only wish for there to be a sequel. It wraps up nicely to be great on its own (but also open enough that there could be more), but I would absolutely love for there to be more in this universe. Like just imagine all the cool mutated animal monsters we could see if there was more from this 'verse!

A wonderful film with extraordinarily good writing that walks a great line between serious and lighthearted. If you don't smile while watching this there is probably something wrong with you.

Just like it’s predecessor “Greenland” Asteroid hit the world and decimate everything in it’s path.but this has Monsters. I mean Giant Crab. Jelly fish that fly's in the air. if that’s not funny for you.you’re not alive my friend.you see the Rockets they use to shoot down the asteroid has chemicals. (that’s what they say man)and it created these monsters. and then on top of that the giant Mott eat the President.that was the editorial in the paper. the way it was said I couldn’t stop laughing.love seeing Michael Rooker in any movie. you have to see it to get the rest of the good stuff.Widescreen 2.39:1English 5.1 DTS-HDRuntime 108 Min.

Ne passe pas dans le lecteur et n'est pas en français vraiment déçue

Estrenada en Netflix, es una magnífica película de aventuras apocalíptica con un espíritu juvenil. El viaje iniciativo sembrado de efectos visuales de altura, pero los justos, alguna escena trascendentemente bella, una historia de amor encantadora y una serie de personajes que aportan un encanto indudable, culminan en un terreno inspirador. Es una de las mejores sorpresas de este año.

Excelente que llegue con su slipcover. Se ve de muy buena calidad. La imagen es increíble y el grano fílmico es muy fino. Casi no se aprecia, pero le da el aspecto cinematográfico que tiene. El sonido en inglés DTS 7.1 es estupendo. No trae doblaje latino, sólo subtítulos. El código digital es válido para iTunes o Vudu USA, que no trae subtítulos en español.

Extraordinaria película, me he pasado un buen rato viendola. Sin duda una gran compra, el blu-ray cuenta con subtítulos en español.
