Tosnail Wood Bellows, Fireplace Bellows Outdoor Cooking Fan Air Blower, 15.5" x 6.5", Brown

Eyes wide open and let's talk fireplace or woodstove bellows. We wanted one, we searched, we read reviews and we tried to make a good choice. The item pictured looks attractive, sturdy and functional plus made of wood. Abject failure on three of four qualifiers. The positive? It is made of wood. As is the box it came in. This bellows is composed of highly compressed thin sheets of paper. Layers and layers of paper with a slick thicker plastic handle cover with woodgrain look. The leatherette was not awful and the rivets were sturdy. Compressed paper was not on our wish list. Item returned to Amazon. May have to take up woodworking.

These bellows look nice and there's nothing wrong with them at all... unless you plan to use them near a fire. The black plastic membrane is a (presumably inexpensive) plastic-based foam. It feels nice to the touch, but it melts when it's close to a flame. I used this item for a couple of days on a job where I needed to pump air into a fire in a tree to burn it out. the bellows were neve put directly into the flame, but even being 3-4 inches from the embers for a few seconds caused the tool to begin to self-destruct. I was able to use foil tape to hold the tool together long enough to get the job done, but they're totally wrecked. Again, they're very nice looking, but I think this is just an ornamental tool to hang by a fireplace, etc. to give the feel of there being tools there. It's not made to be actually used.

I was looking for a replacement for the "fanning cardboard" in order to get air in my fireplace for my fire. This tool provides precise control with the amount of air in the bellows much better that the fanning carboard which sometimes can put a fire out. The quality of the product is ok, if it were more expensive I would be more annoyed about it, but it serves a great value. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who is serious about campfires.

I returned this item because the particleboard was showing through on the little hole on the side. I should have looked at the description more closely to see that it was made of particle board. I want an actual wood yellow and this...Well it wasn’t that expensive and it does work. But it is not to my liking.

works really well actually. Its not real wood or anything, and the lanyard is a cheap pleather material so I took it off and put a real leather loop on it. Its one of those old fashion items that actually serves a purpose and mine is going strong after a long time of use.

This is a nice little bellows. It looks classy sitting next to the fireplace, and it blows well enough, particularly for a relatively small device. Personally though, I find that simply getting close to the fire and blowing works the best. I've operated this way since I was a child, and this bellow hasn't changed that opinion.So, solid device, but if you have been building fires your whole life by blowing on them, this won't change your mind.

Got this for my partner for Christmas. She maintains the fireplace in our house. It’s small and easy to use. The strap is perfect, we hang it right on the rack we have for our fireplace tools. Easier to maintain a nice blazer in winter!

Smaller than I expected which means is has a short stroke. You will have to pump this a lot to get much air movement. However, it was a very good price and it does work. Also, it fits in my utility drawer due to the smaller size, which I guess is a good thing. Certainly wouldn't work for pumping a forge, but for the occasional fire, it'll do.

You know what really gets my fire going? This bellows. Sick of blowing into a Smokey fire pit? Let this little guy do the work for you. Small and light. Could pack it away easily for a hike or camping
