High quality sealant. Don't breathe the vapour.
This is clearly a high-quality material intended for professional use. It's not too specialised to be versatile though, so, lacking a trailer in need of sealing, I put it to use sticking some copper mesh to an airbrick in an attempt to keep the slugs at bay. This airbrick is in a covered passage with doors at each end, and I wish I had opened both doors before starting. The job took only a few minutes, but I still experienced some constriction in the lungs. This does cure quickly, so the danger is brief, but I suggest using outdoors if possible, or with good ventilation and/or breathing equipment otherwise. That said, it's probably no more hazardous than many other building products. The tube has a metal pusher, something I haven't seen before, combined with a card tube. The metal seal can be punctured with the nozzle, which is then screwed on like on any other cartridge. The material is quite thin, so I didn't need to cut the nozzle for this small job, having in mind the risk of the remaining material going off before I have a chance to use it. Once set, it has a rubbery feel, like hard silicone, but it can be sanded, and I have no doubt it will be extremely durable and effective. The price alone almost guarantees it.

Amazing stuff, been using it for years
Sika Sikaflex 212 FC IndustryI have found this very useful over the years. Having been involved in the vehicle industry I have used countless tubes of this. I can remember coming across this when I first encountered a bonded car windscreen that needed to be changed. After carefully cutting through the old sealant that secured the windscreen, I used a tube of this (black) to bond the new windscreen into the vehicle. That windscreen remained in place for the remainder of it's life, never coming apart or leaking water. This indeed has many uses, I recently used some of this to re-attach some exterior roof trim on my car which had fallen off. I have in the past used this to regularly repair my neoprene dry suit, along with bonding pockets onto the dive suit. This stuff will bond almost anything, but be warned, when set it can only be removed by cutting it off.The only downside I have found is that once the tube is opened, despite sealing the contents from the air by using plastic, it doesn't take long for the whole tube to cure. So unless you are going to use this up over a few weeks then I wouldn't open the tube until you are sure you are going to use most of it. (It is claimed an open tube will last up to 2 months if sealed correctly)This is amazing stuff which has served me well over the years!CONTENTS:1 tube x Sika Sikaflex 212Thank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

Really impressive and effective sealant
Just had a leaky door frame and so used this to cure it. A little messy when squeezing out, but wasn’t a big issue. Used it while it was raining and haven’t had no problems since!Another project I used it on was a new plastic shed which I wanted to seal all of the sides and make it very stable and robust. This adhesive is excellent , it enables you once applied the ability to slide and position each panel into position giving you the flexibility of movement whilst using the product.Super sticky, great adhesion, good to tool, stays solid. It seems like will stick anything to anything even if they are wet, therefore I would suggest you need to work tidy as its very difficult to remove if you're not careful.Having now used it for a couple of times I can say that it does do everything that I hoped it would. Only slight negative is the pungent aroma. If you are doing a big job indoors , try and open a door or window!Really pleased with this it was easy to use and gave us a great finish. Yes it costs a bit more but worth it.

Missing nozzle...
I wanted this Sika Sikaflex 212 FC Industry Thixotropic sealant for buses, trucks and trailers to use in our nearly finished campervan. It arrived in 300ml squeezable tube, unfortunately the packaging was damaged on arrival and the nozzle was missing...I've managed to use the nozzle from a different sealant to test it.This sealant is of a grey colour, easy to apply and dries quite fast.I like that I can paint it over, sand etc., very easy to work with.Great brand, exactly as per listing description and resonably priced, so I would happily recommend it.

Good product
Tried all the rest on a very leaky garage threshold but to no avail. Looked on line and found the Sika Sikaflex all weather sealant, adhesive and filler. WOW! What a product.Cleaned and dried the affected area and applied it to the garage door opening walls, door tracks and threshold rubber strips. Left it and observed the outcome in some horendous down pours right next to a beach front. Not a drop of water. Great product. Only use this product and dont waste your money on other sub standard products.this product is a brilliant adhesive & sealant with instant grab & is easily workable & smooths to a professional finish i would not hesitate to buy it again
