My husband broke some spines on his big umbrella so I bought this as a replacement. He loved it! Sturdy, sun protection as well as rain protection. Unfortunately he tossed the cover because it was nearly impossible to get on or off. Still, he loves it.

This replaced another slightly smaller sun umbrella that wasn't two layers as this one is. The blue interior is great and takes the glare of the sunlight that comes through the other sun umbrella. It provides better shade than the single layer sun umbrella that was a different brand.The only negative I have is that I wish that strap that runs around it was longer. It is such a full umbrella that you have to really fold it neatly and tightly to get the current strap to fit. The one I received had two and both were too short unless you take the time to fold it flat, which I don't have. I use it because I take my dogs out to do their business in my back yard. We are going out anywhere 5-6 times a day. I don't want to take the time to fold it so I can use that strap to contain the extra big (which I lover) umbrella. Instead, I found that I can wad it together and then wedge it between the dog food container and the wall to contain the huge folds. That works for me, but if I was taking that for walks in a park or on a trip, I would be cursing it when I couldn't control the folds easily.It also reversed and blew upward. It was windy and it was easily reversed back down to the original shape seemingly unharmed .Otherwise it is a really nice umbrella.

Large, great umbrella for production in FL. It's shady during the day and works as a great umbrella during afternoon showers.

I live in Hawaii. My son plays lots of outdoor sports. This umbrella is great and withstands light winds, so far. I use it to block sun vs rain. The only thing I have a -1 star is the really bad smell the plastic had. So I sprayed several times with fragrant Lysol to kill the smell and left it open in the garage to dry and spray again for several days. Now it’s much more tolerable to sit under than compared to the first day.

Heavy duty, holds up to the wind well and it feels much cooler under the shade vs sun. I didn’t get sunburned with it. Good price for what you get out of it.

We bought this umbrella to protect us from the sun on our vacation. When it was sunny, the umbrella provided cool shade. The weather turned nasty and suddenly we were caught in a windy rainstorm. All five of us (2 adults 3 kids) were able to hunker underneath it and stay dry. The wind never flipped the umbrella inside out.

I didn't realize how much the UV protection really worked until I borrowed one of these during a summer baseball game in Oklahoma. I immediately ordered this one and I am very pleased.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this umbrella to give me shade while I created several murals. The wind was BRUTAL. The umbrella was pushed to its limits and blown in half. I thought it was trashed. I got down and assed the carnage. With a few pulls and readjustments the umbrella was in perfect working order. No bent wires. Nothing broke or bent. The fabric was unbothered. I highly recommend buying this if you are looking for a heavy duty yet well priced umbrella for shade.
