Genuine Toyota Parts 69090-0C040 Rear Gate Handle

I purchased 2 cheaper ($20) handles to avoid paying the OEM price. Both broke within a few months and neither really worked well. This handle was a perfect fit; easy to install, smooth opening and very sturdy compared to non OEM. Spend the money..more expensive but worth it!

Bought a cheep one last time and it lasted 6 months. This one feels much sturdier. I think this one will last. Didn't give it 5 stars because the first one on the truck from toyota broke, lasted 11 years, making me buy another. I do think this is a factory part.

Part was correct, shipping quick and value good but part had been opened and cracked rip on plastic on back. It still works but overtime this defect will cause an issue. It wasn’t worth returning as I had no latch I needed my tailgate. When I ordered there was only one in stock from this supplier so I wouldn’t be surprised it they knew it was already broken but I can’t say for sure.

OEM part, well built and not cheap plastic as other parts reviewed on Amazon. Easy and straight forward installation. Replaced on my 2007 Tundra so hopefully this one will last another 13 years.

I purchased this and paid more to have a genuine Toyota part thinking it would fit better. First day out it fell out and was lost.

Real deal OEM. Can't beat it. And the price is cheaper than dealers.

Excellent quality and easy to install.

Prior to this purchase I purchased a less expensive aftermarket handle which turned out to be rap. This handle fit perfectly and actually works with ease. Well worth the extra cost.
