I bought and applied these to my wood outdoor porch steps in 2016. I applied them to prevent dogs and people from slipping, which worked perfectly. I am going to replace them now with the same product after eight years since a couple of edges have begun to tatter. I am very impressed with the grip and the long lasting value.

These work perfect. i have a steep ramp i built that gets slick in the winter or when it rains. These are a difference maker. Easy to install like a sticker,, clean area well, dry, then slowly stick.. press down and your golden

Works well for our side entrance. The reflective tread really lights up. It is much safer than the mat we had, which moved around too much. I think personally it was too expensive because if you are like me you need several of them. One of the strips has come off already so I am a little concerned that the cold is too much for it. Time will tell. We bought 1 replacement already. They were the same price online as they were at the home supply store.

I placed four of these on a wood ramp up to my shed. It gets pretty slick when it rains a lot or it is just moist out. These do the trick, I don't have to worry about slipping and falling. The adhesive keeps the strips securely attached. Even after a few years, they are as good as new. The reflective stripe is a plus.

I can't tell you how many times I've slipped on my concrete garage steps in wet weather. They are slick when wet and really needed traction added to them. They were dangerous.I washed the steps and stuck these on - took 5 minutes after they were dry after cleaning. The traction on them is great and the yellow safety strips makes seeing the step easier. Having 3M adhesive on them, should keep them on the steps forever, I hope.If you have slippery steps, these are a great solution! I like them a lot.

These seem to work well. No problem so far with them and I really do make you feel like your feet or not gonna slide. They also look nice.

My 14 year old 50-pound dog slipped on the painted concrete stairs a couple of times and became terrified of them. This was a problem because we live on the second floor. It became impossible for me to carry him down the stairs when I hurt my back. Enter these 3M treads. I scrubbed the stairs thoroughly with a soapy solution, then TSP, then rinsed multiple times. After it completely dried I sprayed Super 77 and stuck these things down. After initially being freaked out by them, my dog eventually became confident again going down the stairs. Worth the price! DO THE PREP WORK. Note that Amazon folds these for shipping. Home Depot sells them unfolded for the same price. I laid them in the sun because they had been folded and it ended up not being a problem, but for this price I was not happy about it. Also I cut a 6x24 hole through a big piece of cardboard so the Super 77 didn't go everywhere.

I use these outdoors on ramp to my shed and seam to last a fairly long time. Great antique slip product

This is excellent to prevent slips; is easy to install and it has survived the shovelling of snow! Think I will add more to other steps!

I thought the listing was for a pack of 6 treads, 24” long each. In fact it’s only ONE single tread! For this price it’s a total rip off. Returning. Also, this single tread shipped in a MASSIVE box large enough for my 2 year old and 5 year old to play inside, filled with bubble wrap. It’s so small it could have easily fit in a large envelope. What a waste of packaging, not impressed

I misread the details and thought I was getting 10 pads per order of approximately $20 per order. It turned out to be I pad per order and at $20 it was way over priced. Caution - dig deeper into ordering items to avoid frustration. Pad are great but with a retired 3M rep friend, he said they are way too expensive at $20 per pad.
