Should have listened to the other reviewers
While the product itself is decent quality, and I was drawn to the idea of carrying a tourniquet and shears in one holder, the straps are way, way too tight. It took a good while to feed a CAT through the straps, then on deployment testing I could not get the tourniquet out of the holder in a reasonable amount of time. Will probably work great with smaller tourniquets but it's too tight for a CAT. Or do what someone else said and cut the elastic off and use your own velco straps in place.

Misleading Picture & Poor Quality
2 big things with this, that I hope you all pay attention to.1. This does not include a tourniquet or trauma sheers. I repeat, DOES NOT INCLUDE TQ & SHEERS2. And the MOST IMPORTANT… this items quality is poor, as a result of the stitching and size it is a very impractical item. What most people don’t realize about a TQ holder is it NEEDS TO BE ACCESSIBLY QUICKLY AND EASILY. The stress on the elastic is so tight that to get the tourniquet out of its holder in a real world situation would be near impossible. When the stress kicks in fine motor control is out the window guys. This does hold a TQ but it holds it so tight that even in setting it up it took nearly 5 minutes to stage the tourniquet in a suitable manor and another 2-3 minutes just to remove it. Spend your money more wisely on a better holder.If you ever had to use one of these, and I pray you don’t, those few extra minutes or seconds could mean the difference in a lot of blood loss and fumbling with these product could be a matter of life and death. I wish the manufacturers would take this more seriously.

Tested and works - but be careful
Bought this for use with my Recon TQs. Its way too small. It will work on most others fine, but the Recon Gen 4 is a beast of a tq and this just wont hold it.Well made and easy to use. I am having new straps put on mine though. Having to fight your way through the elastic bands that hold this on could prove deadly if you're left in the field with one usable hand. My new straps are going to have velcro that hold the TQ in.The ability to store shears is great, and this does a great job of that. Overall, I'm happy with this choice.
