I bought these to get a bit more proactive on "prehab" while training for marathons. I mostly wanted to use them on my heels as I sometimes have soreness in the heel/achilles area but also wanted to be able to use an ice pack on my knees, hips or elsewhere.I've only used the packs as cold so I can't comment on heating them and how they perform used in that way. I keep them in the freezer and take them out when I need them. The sleeves that come with them seem to be well made and easy to fit the packs into. The strap on each sleeve has plenty of length so you can wrap and bend the pack on to whichever joint you are icing and then use the long strap to tighten things up.I don't have particularly sensitive sking but I did get a pretty strong burn on my one heel from keeping the pack on too long, although I have noticed this only becomes an issue if I stored the packs in "fast freeze" section of the freezer (they seem to get colder in there). I should also add that I was using the sleeve with the thin side next to my skin rather than the felt kind of material side which I presume is the opposite way to how it should be applied, so it is really my own fault. I only mention this burn as advice rather than a problem with the product.I am really pleased with these ice packs and they have worked really well so far and I use them regularly as part of my recovery routine after long runs and whenver I've been putting the miles in and need to ice up a bit. I recommend them highly.

These are fantastic. Purchased the twin pack for use on ankle tendinitis. In the pack, you receive not only two ice packs, but two 'holders' as well. They are really easy to use and very good value for money. When applying the gel pack, place into the fabric cover (which velcro fastens up), then place the grey side of the cover against your skin, then wrap the binding around and secure it with the velcro fastening ... which works well and stays in place. It is also very stretchy so would fit a wide variety of people. Can't recommend highly enough!

Arrived in good time, packaging ok. Two gel packs, two gel pack holders. Two gel packs appear good quality although I will be careful when handling them as I don't know how strong the plastic covering the gel is and I would not like to risk it ripping in my freezer. I can still sufficiently bend it to go around my ankle even when it's been in the freezer for 7 hours. The holder isn't (in my opinion) particularly good quality, does have a cheap made in a sweatshop feel about it. But the elastic is fairly strong and flexible. It does fit around my waist (I'm not petite shall we say!) and attach to the ice pack holder with the strong Velcro meaning I could put it on my back or stomach as required. The holder is like micro cloth one side and mesh the other. Over all I'm pleased with the purchase and would consider them quite good value for money. Depending on how long they last I would definitely buy again.

The media could not be loaded. Very practical. Small and handy. It has a gel inside so it doesn’t get frozen if you need it cold. It comes with a little pocket to put it in before the contact with the skin.

I used the heat packs for knees, and it really has eased my pain. I do put the packs in for a bit longer than it says, mainly because by the time you've put the pack inside it's little case then wrapped it around my knee, it's cooled down a bit. But felt much better than using a long hot water bottle across both knees.

These are unbelievably good. They stay cold far longer than other ice packs I've tried, they don't go any harder in the freezer than can be fixed by waiting a moment and squeezing them around a bit (and that's only if you've accidentally frozen them scrunched up, they're find if you remember to lay them out flat), the strap works very well, and if you are relatively slim-hipped you can wrap them around your lower back. I use them frequently for chronic pain, and a friend with a strained Achilles tendon who borrowed one while visiting commented on how much better they felt afterwards, and promptly bought one. The gel pack slips easily into the pouch and is then velcroed in place, and I'm sure it'd be easy to wash the pouch separately if I got something on it.

Product seemed pretty good. One of the gel packs just started to leak after 5 months use. Heated and used once a day, so not the best value for money.

As a sporty and active person "of a certain age," the inevitable niggles and strains become more frequent. As yet, I've not used the heat application so can only comment on the cold.To freeze from room temperature takes about three to four hours but once you've applied the pack for the maximum 20-30mins, they re-freeze more quickly. They retain the cold well and are pliable enough to wrap around any limb. As they're gel, keeping them in the freezer permanently means that, should the need arise, you don't have to go looking for ice cubes (or frozen peas...)The material wrap with velcro fastening is really good (ice should not be applied directly to the skin...) - saves having to look for a tea towel etc. and allows the pack to stay in place really well during treatment. So far, I've used them mainly on my thighs but also on my lower back and my husband is currently using one on his ankle and calf.Can't recommend highly enough to be honest - really made a positive difference to my post-training recovery and injuries.

Siendo algo tan básico está muy buen construido, y se ve de calidad, mantiene mucho la temperatura y agarra bien.

confezione molto conveniente che contiene due gel di grandi dimensioni. Io personalmente lo utilizzo per le caviglie e le fasce avvolgenti sono comodissime per poterlo tenere fermo anche mentre sei in movimento ed avere così le mani libere.Qualità del gel molto alta, ha una durata superiore a quanto mi serve

Man kann die beiden Kühl- und Wärmepads solo oder mit der im Set enthaltenen Tasche samt Klettverschluss nutzen.So kann man das Ganze dann z.B. auch am Knie fixieren, was wirklich gut klappt. Habe die Wärmeanwendung bislang nie probiert. Nutze sie nur als Kühlpads, was bislang einwandfrei klappte. Vorteil dieser Pads ist das Gel. Die werden auch im Froster nicht steinhart, sondern lassen sich im eiskalten Zustand auch gut biegen und anpassen. Bei dem Preis kann man da nicht viel falsch machen, zumal ich sowas vor Ort im Laden erst gar nicht und dann nur deutlich (!) teurer gefunden habe.

Ottime fasce gel, io le sto usando esclusivamente a freddo, e ne ho sempre una in congelatore, l'altra la tengo in caso mi servisse a caldo. La fascia è veramente ottima due involucri per isolare il gel dalla pelle per non venirne direttamente in contatto, ottima qualità ad un ottimo prezzo.

die Geleinlagen sind schön flach und werden nach Kühlung in die dazu gehörenden Bandagen geschoben. dann direkt ums Knie gewickelt und anhand der klettverschlüsse halten sie im liegen ganz gut. sind sehr zufrieden und würden sie wieder kaufen. die Lieferung hat allerdings 14 Tage gedauert.
