After trying other powdered calcium/magnesium products that were artificially flavored, this one works well. You do have to dissolve it in warm water and like others of these, not all of it goes into solution so the last swig is chalky but hey, it's calcium not mango nectar. If you add it to juice or other beverages you like, it is fine. I have osteopenia and so am trying to take bone-building minerals in a form that can be more easily absorbed. This does the job!

Nice lemony flavor. Dissolves easily in hot water. I notice a calming effect and I like that it does not have other flavorings, stevia or vitamin D added... Just calcium and magnesium citrate.

Taste terrible in my shake

Doesn't taste great and it leaves white little balls on the bottom of the glass. Didn't like that at all.

The product does help me sleep. That is what I bought it for. It did not handle my sore muscles but I am 74 so not sure what will.

I think this works and helps me stay asleep. It has a good flavor BUT it WON’T dissolve. I’ve tried every temperature of water drinking it slow and drinking it fast. There’s STILL that chalky icky stuff in the bottom of the cup. Unfortunately Thorne no longer has their effervescent cal mag so I’m stuck with this one. It just pisses me off that it won’t dissolve all the way. I’m left trying to gargle and swish water around in my mouth before I go to bed so it all goes down.

I've been happily using this product (or its predecessor) for decades. It's a simple and pure formula of the optimum ratio of Calcium to Magnesium (2:1). It helps to calm muscles and nerves to relax me and help me sleep. It completely dissolves into water instantly and tastes pleasant. I've recommended it to numerous friends over the years.As people age, it is hard to imagine a better, more assimilable supplement for brittle bones caused by osteoporosis.
