Great plot and characters
I really enjoyed the whole story. I would have liked to have had a better conclusion to some of the plot lines. I’m not crazy about the reads that leave the story so open that it makes reading the next one in series required.

Who is it?
Lisa Jackson never disappoints. This book had me all over the place thinking…ok, it’s got to be…no, it’s. And I wasn’t right till near the end. The only negative, I cannot stand female characters who are angry, chip on their shoulder, cannot accept any help and suspects everyone just because. Yes, to me that is Mendoza. I felt she brought nothing to the story. Otherwise, excellent as usual.

Double Trouble, Twin Power
This book was fantastic. I loved the twists and turns. Being an identical twin myself, I can attest to the complexity of twinship. You twin can be your bestie or your worse enemy. Each personality distinct, but at times quite similar. Each person striving to dominate simultaneously. Julia and Sophia were two halves of the same coin. An interesting study for the "nurture vs nature" theory of how twins can be reared apart, but still be inherently alike. The Cahill family is cursed. I must admit that struggled to feel compassion for James. I don't like people who go through life letting their lust overrule common sense and decency. I am not saying that he should have been set upon by greedy folks, rather his lack of restraint towards women and the setting of clear boundaries made him an easy target. Be clear are in an exclusive relationship or not. Then when it ends, it ends.I found two the police detectives characters very interesting. River's sixth sense definitely added a unique dimension to the story. Hopefully, they will make another appearance in the next book. Megan, nothing to say except karma can be a bitch. I think she had serious emotional issues. Rebecca, hum. I liked yet disliked her at the same time. I appreciated her commitment to Megan, but I felt like she had allowed her family, to taken advantage of her (including Megan). Never the less, she followed her instincts and dam, that girl didn't go down easy. This is the first book I have read in this series and I definitely will be reading the others.

What a story
This one started incredibly slow and at half way I almost deleted but then it sped up and was in typical Lisa Jackson style a fast and psychologically interesting, page turner. The legitimate and illegitimate offspring of the Cahill- Amhurst families are a psychological nightmares in the making and the potential for stories ever evolving.

You betrayed me
Interesting book. Suspenseful, has an interesting plot twist. I always like Lisa Jackson's books. Will likely read more of them.

Disappointing
Really disappointed with this book. Storyline awful, very bland and boring. I skipped a lot of pages, and it didn't get any better.

Needlessly long
3.5☆This story is full of women - some unstable - who are fixated on James, most of them for his money. James has hopped from one woman to another without a worry but now there is a whole bunch of trouble crashing down on him.The story was intriguing, the mystery was good and had a lot of twists, characters were well developed, but there was a lot of repetition and some parts were overly descriptive - making the story drag unnecessarily - and the ending felt incomplete.

Good read.
This book was pretty good. The author weaves a story that leaves you guessing until the very end.The only thing I found that made it not 5 stars was it can be a little confusing keeping the characters (past ones) straight which is kinda important for these storylines. All in all, it’s a great book. Can’t wait for the next one.

You betrayed me by Lisa Jackson
Great story be even better without the explicit sex I would prefer to use my imagination. But thank you for a great read.
