TREKMATES Tick Remover - AW21

My friend recently found a tick attached to her stomach of all places, with absolutely no idea of how it could possibly have got there. She had a terrible time getting it off with tweezers but the head was left and she got a bullseye rash so had to go to the doctors and take antibiotics in case of Lyme disease.That's when I decided to get a tick remover to have with me in case I ever get bitten. I looked at various designs, but chose this metal one as it can be hung on a key chain or handbag so I will always have it to hand if the worse happens. It is perfect and even has the instructions etched into the reverse so you always know how to use it if you are in a panic. I bought 2 - one for me and one for my friend so she has it if she's bitten again. She's thrilled with it.Comes well presented on a card.

This product is beyond useless, at least on animals.It has been on my keyring, awaiting the moment I needed it and today, when I needed it, it didn't work at all. My dogs fur didn't allow for the tick tool to get underneath the tick enough for it to be removed... useless

Went scotland in springtime and got a few ticks on me, this is not suitable, even the biggest it couldnt pick up, no free returns so be warned, had to travel 60 miles to closest outdoor shop, got some lifeventure tick tweezers, so much better

This couldn't remove ticks. Maybe it'd work for really big ticks but didn't work on any ticks I got so I had to use tweezers.
