Got the Job Done
Nothing says Summer to me more than the distant sounds of lawnmowers cutting suburbia’s grass, and the shh-shh-shh sound of sprinklers as they water those thirsty lawns. When inspecting my system at the beginning of this year’s season, I discovered that three of the sprinkler heads did not survive the ravages of Winter. So, I picked up the replacements, and dug out the first one; however, my problem was that the new heads were not as tall… And, that’s where these risers come in.They are made of polyethylene, so they will last a long, long time. They come in 6-inch (16cm) lengths and can easily be cut to any size desired (I use a hacksaw). You can purchase risers at precut lengths, but why would you do that when you can use these and get an exact length every time.Note: Not all sprinkler systems and heads use the same diameter pipes, so make sure you measure before buying, so you get the correct size.Bottom LineHaving a riser that you can cut to size, makes installation of sprinkler heads just that much easier. Plus, the price point fits my budget to a tee.

Versatile riser
Great for being able to custom tailor the length. Also great that it will break before its connector tee does.

Great solution to a common problem
This product really helped solve the problem of sprinkler heads being too low. Seems like over time the turf builds up and the sprinklers don't get high enough for the water spray to clear the nearby grass. These extensions are very easy to install and work like a champ!

great for a quick repair
In expensive, great for a quick repair. I've used these orbits for several years and do find that they tend to bend or crack much quicker than the green rainbird risers I originally installed in the system. Still the rainbirds are twice as expensive and since I normally have to dig up a number of heads each spring when restarting the system this is not a big deal.
