The games are missing scan lines, and look squished down
I tried this on my original Nintendo DS because that has the Gameboy Advance slot you need to use. However, you should note that games look strange due to being squished downwards. There appears to be scan lines missing, and that makes reading text in the game difficult, and makes the games look a bit weird, in my opinion.Perhaps the games that look squished were originally for the NES system and not the gameboy. Somebody else will need to answer that question. If you decide to buy this, know that this cartridge has the following games on it (in the list below). I tried four so far since I received the cartridge only a couple of hours ago in the mail, and the four games worked. I haven't played the game originals, so I can't say if they play identically, but they worked and so I'm assuming they will match the originals. I will probably end up playing this cartridge on the Nintendo Gamecube instead, with the Gameboy Player (which is additional hardware), because it all looks so small on the DSAdventure Island 1Adventure Island 2Adventure Island 3Adventure Island 4Adventures of Lolo 1Adventures of Lolo 2Adventures of Lolo 3AstyanaxBatmanBattletoadsBattletoads Double Dragon)Bionic CommandoBlades of SteelBlaster MasterBomberman 1Bomberman 2A Boy and His BlobBubble Bobble 1Bubble Bobble 2Castlevania 1Castlevania 2Castlevania 3Rescue RangersCobra TriangleContraContra ForceCrystalisDevil WorldDonkey KongDonkey Kong Jr.Double Dragon 1Double Dragon 2Double Dragon 3Dr. MarioDragon Warrior 1Dragon Warrior 2Dragon Warrior 3Dragon Warrior 4Duck TalesExcitebikeFaxanaduFester's QuestFinal Fantasy 1Final Fantasy 2Final Fantasy 3Fire 'n IceGalagaGanbare GoemonGargoyles Quest 2GhostbustersGhosts 'n GoblinsGoonies 2GradiusGuardian LegendGun NacHoly DiverIce ClimberIce HockeyIkari WarriorsJackalJourney to SiliusKickle CubicleKid IcarusKid NikiKirby's AdventureKlaxKung FuLegend of Zelda 1Legend of Zelda 2Legend of Zelda OutlandsLegendary WingsLemmingsLifeforceLittle NemoLittle SamsonLode RunnerManiac MansionMarble MadnessMario Bros.Mario Open GolfMega Man 1Mega Man 2Mega Man 3Mega Man 4Mega Man 5Mega Man 6Metal GearMetroidMickey MousecapadeMicro MachinesMoon CrystalMotherMr. GimmickMs. Pac-ManNew Ghostbusters IINinja Gaiden 1Ninja Gaiden 2Ninja Gaiden 3Over HorizonPac-ManPaperboyParasol StarsParodiusPipe DreamPower BladePrince of PersiaQixRad RacerRC Pro-AmRing KingRiver City RansomRush'n AttackRygarSection ZShadowgateShatterhandSkate or Die 2Snake Rattle n RollSnake's RevengeSolomon's KeySolsticeSpace InvadersStar ForceStar SoldierStar Tropics 1Star Tropics 2Summer Carnival '92Super CSuper Mario Bros. 1Super Mario Bros. 2 USASuper Mario Bros. 2 JapanSuper Mario Bros. 3Sweet HomeTecmo Super BowlTetrisTMNT 1TMNT 2TMNT 3To The EartchTwinbee 1Twinbee 2Twinbee 3UfouriaVice Project DoomWario's WoodsWillowWizards & WarriorsXeviousYoshi's CookieZanac

Works as it should...
Bought this for my son, and was hoping to reminisce a little bit with some old school NES games. Works great - even saves games (Zelda), too. My son enjoys it very much - a great gift for someone with a Nintendo DS Lite or Gameboy Advanced.

Does not work
This cartridge does not work on my Gameboy Advance SP. Same issue as another reviewer posted where the screen goes black and freezes.

Not all games work like the full version of them.
Not all games work, or only work in 1 player mode. I really wouldn't buy it again but this works to keep a 5yr old busy trying to figure it out.

Make sure the product is stable and functions properly
For an emulation of classic NES games for Gameboy Advanced, it's surprisingly solid. Though I'm not sure if the cartridge or console can handle that much power, let alone with 150 games.Just like it was advertised, I found a huge selection of NES games and at first I had my doubts. I thought "there's no way this tiny cartridge can hold this many games" so I gave it a shot and started with my favorite game on the NES, Kirby's Adventure. As far as emulation goes, it plays surprisingly well. It works almost as if I were playing it on the real NES. Sure the resolution is a little rough and there a few sound errors here and there, but other than that, the gameplay feels pretty accurate to the original game.So after I beat the first world, I thought it was time to play another game. Now I could've just turn the Gameboy off and start it up again, but then I thought "What if it doesn't save my progress?" so my first instinct was to experiment with the only buttons that weren't on an NES controller, L & R. It opened up a menu full of all kinds of options, and the first thing I did was create a save state. I figured it wouldn't autosave so I had to do it manually just in case. Then I went back to the game menu and scrolled through the huge selection of games, so I settled on Galaga. And this is where the problems started. After I selected Galaga, the game froze and then it turned to a black screen, then the the console itself shut off (with the light still on) after I push a few random buttons. So I turn my Gameboy off and back on, the logo wasn't glitched, then the game select menu showed up again... for only a split second before going to a black screen. And this is was my main issue. I don't know if it really was that the cartridge couldn't hold this much storage or if it was unstable, but this happens every time;1. I start the game up2. The menu shows up then disappears3. Black screen4. The Gameboy shuts off if I press any buttonSo the game is now unplayable, and that's why I had to returned it. I'm not sure what is causing this problem and how to fix it, but hopefully there is a solution by the time I decide to buy it again. Maybe cramming 150 NES games into a tiny GBA cartridge that has only a few megabytes of storage is a little too much for it to handle.

Make sure everything works before selling
One of the games totally quit working! But the rest are working fine.
