Road trip life saver for 6 and 8 year olds!!!!
The media could not be loaded. We had a 14 hour car ride with 3 kids (ages 6 year old twins and 8 year old) and I was getting new things to keep them entertained and got one for each of my kids. This was a life saver!!!!!1. Each tablet will need 3 AAA batteries (not included). But each comes with a carrying bag, screwdriver for battery back, 8 markers, a wipe rag, tons of different activity pages and a black paper insert.2. My big con would be switching out the papers could be a little tricky and a couple of the papers ripped. They just slide in and out the top.3. The tablets are fun to write with and the neon markers all show up really well. But when you add the lights its just an extra fun surprise! You can switch through each light color or you can put it on what my kids call party mode (see video)4. The tablets have suction cups which was nice since they were able to put it on the car window.5. The paper inserts had a ton of different activities! Connect the dots, mazes, math facts, letter tracing, coloring and more. You can easily free draw or swap through these activities! It was perfect for my 3 kids since each have different likes and they were able to find something for themselves.6. The marker doesnt come off the best and the rag gets used pretty fast. Positively, even if its been on for days, rubbing alcohol easily wipes it all off.I highly recommend!!! It was a road trip life saver!

Great gift for young kids!
I bought this as a gift for my nephew whom i dont know what he likes or doesnt like or what he has. I figured having three kids myswlf that this would be a great gift because even the kids that dont like to draw so much still like to doodle and could practice writing ABC's and numbers in a fun way. It came in a nicely packed box and had plastic around the product box. Inside the product box it was in a bag and came with a black board, several game and writting boards, markers, rag, little screwdriver for battery compartment, bag and instructions. Did not come with batteries and takes three AAA. You stick the black card stock paper or game board into the little opening in the bottom and its good to go. There are several versions of lights different colors and flashing all colors. I gave the rating a 4 cause having kids and our experience with these type of toys, it doesnt seem to be built really strong. So I dont think it will last a real long time but hopefully my nephew will have a blast with it!

Cheap
I am really disappointed with this item.It looked really nice online. For 14$, I wasn’t expecting something really expensive, but I expected more than this.It is very very very cheaply made. The lights sort of light up along the top and bottom but not in a “cool” way.... the papers are very thin and cheap and just slide in over a slightly more durable piece of cheap black paper. The papers also crinkle up when sliding in.I’m debating on not even showing this to my children and returning it. The Crayola version is only a few dollars more and is larger. I can’t imagine it being of any cheaper/lower quality than this. Most likely returning.Update: all of my previous statements hold true. I find this to be an unimpressive item that is very poorly made and scratches when wiped with a paper towel, but I am changing my 2 stars to 5 because my 3 kids fight over it and love it. They all 3 love drawing on it (there was a time when anything that encouraged scribbling of any kind for my kids would have gotten 5 stars) and carrying it around changing the light settings in the dark. Because this item is for them and not me, I am changing my rating.Even so, this is a really poorly made item that is very disappointing for me personally.

Fun for your lil Picasso's and DaVinci's
Neat little device to encourage creativity for your kids. The ability to use this in the dark due to the built in light is a useful functionality to keep kids busy all times during the day. Also, its weight and straightforward use make it a good little device to carry in your bag and keep kids occupied in the car and other outings.A couple of caveats though - the light does not cover the entire drawing board and is focused towards the bottom. Second, the suction holders just cover the top thus it could lead to the drawing board wobbling a little when sketching on it.In summary, it's a good device for the intent it's meant to serve - which is encourage creativity and artistic instinct in kids.

Educational Toy
I bought this magic pad for my 3+ year grand daughter. I can call it an educational toy. Being a professor, I would like children to learn while playing. This toy does that work. For the price we paid, we got many items, magic pad, stencils, crayons and the beautiful carry bag but not the batteries which is disappointing and a reason for me to reduce a star in my review. As there were no batteries at home, my grand daughter had to wait for a day to use it. Another reason for 4 stars is the quality of the plastic used in the frame of the pad. It should have been better because children use it. Children can spend a lot of time with it by using it in different modes. The color changing feature with a click of white button is interesting. On the whole it is a good gift for children of age 3 plus. I definitely recommend it.

The writing in the picture is fine so I thought it would be great for sketching but it wasnt
You use markers given so it's like drawing on a white board with markers. There are sheets you can trace but it's difficult to get them in and out. Kind of cheaply made. Wasn't impressed with the, I'm assuming protective, plastic covering you had to rip off that left little pieces of frayed plastic wrap all around the edges of where you draw. The kids were bored in 2 minutes and they love to sketch and draw. This might be good for maybe a toddler that doesn't have crayons and regular markers and coloring books but if you already have these things....this isn't an extra way for kids to play. It's just marker on clear plastic bc they can't get the teacing sheets in on their own
