Dead solar watch
Watch from japan was a 2014 sold as New. When arrived could not charge due to dead capacitors no one checked to see if working before shipping.

Great product
I was recommended Orient watches and I am not disappointed. They really are value for money and very pleasing to look at. My one slight disappointment is that all instructions are in Japanese and it is difficult to obtain them written in English

Glad I bought it. I've avoided it for years 🙂
Glad I bought this watch. And truthfully, I have avoided this watch for years! I love retro looking watches and I like culturally significant styling and to me this is kind of like early Japan/ Chinese sort of 1911 wartime styling retro where in North America and europe. It would be called our deco in their style but this is the style from Japan. Maybe at that time.. It is the epitome of throwback and Asian styling, for me. It's a really interesting watch visually and as a watch instrument itself is very good..Frankly, I try to avoid another thing, especially with Seiko watches and this may well have a sake of movement inside. I'm betting, I avoid that subdial at the 6:00 when it says alarm. Going back in time to a world timer I bought maybe 25 years ago and figured out how to use it including the bottom alarm which was also a second clock or watch, I found that I could never quite remember the instructions and so it was a waste of a sub dial. I felt this way when I saw this Watch but I was attracted in fact strongly attracted to the styling. I watched other retro watches including a few from orient with the three star logo and I've been very tempted, especially when they were selling for 99 bucks USA and I'm here in canada and don't have those models on our Amazon. So hello world. It went out of stock a couple of times as I watched it and finally it almost looks like it was on sale briefly when I saw it again this last time. Sailor or not. I bought it. When I got it. I was thrilled and I still am. It's one heck of a really neat looking watch and it's pretty and it's interesting and it's retro Asia and it's definitely a highly functional chronograph. So I ended up googling how to set the alarm on this watch? And I had to laugh. I found the instructions. The instructions were the most absolute convoluted multi -zig-zag, zoom, zip and zap set of instructions that didn't even begin to make sense or have any logic to them whatsoever. So I just thought to myself. Oh screw it all so I won't use the alarm. And besides all these watch alarms are such a soft sound and so high pitched that the older you get, the more you lose your ability to hear high pitches. So wait a couple years and I'll be completely deaf to high pitched tones like these watches admit. So what's the purpose!? Besides, I have a couple of smart bracelets that have all these times and vibrate and I have a smartphone and those are easy to set for alarms etc. And they're notifications you could choose from tons of wild sounds loud or softer musical. So I still enjoy this watch tremendously and it's one of my almost 170 watches in my collection. It's on closer display than many of them because it's such a good looking and very cool watch. I'm just trying to find some occasion where I can wear it where somebody might appreciate it. But the bottom line for me is I don't think I know anybody personally in my hometown or in my circle of friends that could actually have any appreciation for watches nearly as much as I do. That's why I joined a lot of facebook watch groups for each brand of watch that I do have. At least there's people like me who are avid watch fans and total watch maniacs. If you're an avid watch fan then this is definitely a watch fans watch It's a beauty!.

Vintage y funcional

Better than pictures
Great watch for the price, paid (23,000 yen plus shipping and taxes) dial it's beautiful, shines different according to light intensity and angle of view... Not heavy nor light, comfortable to wear, bracelet is not that great, and it shows the modest price examining closely, but according to people overall opinion around, the watch looks expensive than it is... Arrived at perfect shape to Mexico, packed well.
