The Library Grandmaster Chess Set, Box, and Board Combination

This is an absolutely beautiful set. It is the nicest set I've ever seen. I got it as a gift for my Stepfather, and he said it's the nicest set he's ever owned. I tried my best to get good photos of the packaging. Can't wait to play with my Stepdad! The board is absolutely solid. The piece storage box is top notch. This is my first House of Staunton purchase, and I'd happily purchase again. I chose the Golden Rosewood colors, but they have a decent selection of other colors.

Amazing set. THE BEST VALUE for the price point. House of Staunton is the gold standard for wooden chess pieces. This is my second set from the company, and I am not disappointed.

A beautifully made chess board with an incredible style of pieces. Bare in mind this is a library set, so the dimensions are not tournament legal, but it really is perfect for a coffee table, on the road, etc where space may be limited. Shipping was fantastic (each piece individually wrapped, and great packaging protection). I would highly recommend this board if on budget.

This is a beautiful chess set! The pieces are weighted nicely and carved well! The board is just the right size as are the squares. The chess piece storage box is lined and solid feeling! Love this set!

Wonderful set! I just started getting into tournament chess and this set is my first one! I love the style and this price is a steal if you want a set that looks great, but you don’t want to break the bank.
