This is, without doubt, the best kid’s book series on Judo anywhere in the world. The bright colors and animated characters are perfect to be naturally appealing to kids. But make no mistake, the technical knowledge contained in the books is anything but childish. If you are looking for a book that you can use in teaching Judo to kids, you simply can’t find better than this series by Olympic medalist Nik Fairbrother.(Trust me, I’ve looked.)This is what my local Judo club recommends to any parent that asks, without hesitation. If you are teaching judo to your own young kids (like I am), buy the entire series. You’ll thank me later.

Fantastic for kids

Easy to understand for kids and adults with step by step illustration. Reading it with my granddaughter who is just start her judo journey. So good I had to but the whole series.

I absolutely love the books and have hard back copies foe our judo bags.i think they are a brilliant coaching aid for both qualified and those looking to start coaching as well to give you other ideas on how to break something down.. as coaches can sometimes get stuck in certain way of teaching a technique because "we've always done it that way" or "thats how we were taught it'" and its good to share new ideas
