The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Daily Face Scrub - Exfoliating and Purifying For Blemished Skin - Vegan - 4.2 Fl Oz

I have been using this face wash for about 20 years! Unfortunately the body shop no longer sells in the USA. I'm grateful to find some on here. My skin hadn't been the same going months without it. I get so many compliments on my skin being so clear. I usually stick to the seaweed in the winter and tea tree in the summer. the tea tree isn't good if you have dry skin, but for oily skin, it's the best. if you have combination or normal skin type, definitely use a couple times a week vs daily, so you don't dry your skin out. for some reason this batch seemed to be much stronger and more drying which made my skin peel a bit. I find the body shop to be the best in facial products and comforting that they're cruelty free and fair trade! they also use recycled packaging! I love the eco-consciousness

Upon opening the package I was assaulted by some sickening smell. I figured that maybe it was just the plastic smell of the container that the product was in. I opened the cleanser and the smell was the actually product!! I waited an insanely long amount of time for this face wash for me to just throw it away but that’s what I did. Smelled absolutely terrible - maybe it got too hot in Texas summer heat? Very disappointed. Usually this brand doesn’t disappoint but YIKES!

I really enjoy this exfoliate. I like the way that it lathers up almost like a foaming soap. That foaming action helps me apply the scrub over my entire face and neck. I also fine that my skin reacts well to menthol and the scent of it is pretty strong in this scrub. The level of "roughness" is pretty mild so I think most people could safely use this product 3-4 times a week.I took off a star because the container here is very small. If you were to use enough to exfoliate your face and neck 3-4 times a week this tube may not even last 2 weeks. I'd also like to echo what others have said and I hope The Body Shop will find a more environmentally friendly option rather than the plastic microbeads they're using.

I have really oily facial skin and have had acne since I can remember, and with my job the air in winter gets super dry. When I started wearing a facemask for the pandemic it increased 10x. I decided it was time to take action. I was always told to just use soap growing up, which never worked, I even tried exfoliating soaps. So I looked up some of the best moisturizing exfoliating face washes and this kept coming up, so its gotta work right? Well, I love it. I use it 2-3 times a week and my acne has almost completely cleared up, and my face is really soft now. At first I was nervous because my acne got worse, but after more uses it got significantly better. It's almost like it did a super deep clean. The smell is nice and it almost feels like theres a menthol sensation to it. I'm thinking about actually getting a subscription for it and maybe trying the lotion that they have.

At first I only used this about 2-3 times a week and didn’t notice any difference.Then I started using it every night after removing my makeup and i can’t believe what a difference I’m noticing in my skin! It’s a light enough scrub for daily use IMO. (Although, my skin is not sensitive)I have very oily skin and large pores. I don’t have acne, but do have a lot of texture from scarring. I used to have these little bumps on my skin that would drive me crazy, they weren’t acne, more like clogged pores. After using this every night they have completely vanished and my skin feels baby smooth! Also helped with discoloration.My skin routine:1. Massage my face with coconut oil to break down makeup2. Remove oil with a wet, warm washcloth3. Apply this scrub (rub throughly for 60 seconds!)4. Dry off and apply rosehip oil to moisturize my skinIf your on the fence about this product, I highly recommend trying it!!!

I have been using this product since around 2012. And the problem I have is it seems to be less effective than before. I’m not sure if the ingredients changed but I know when my face is squeaky cleaned of oil and this product doesn’t have the same effect anymore. I never minded the price when it was SO effective! What a shame they no longer have any stores.

I am allergic to MANY chemicals & scents. This did not irritate my skin at all.
