It's gorgeous. You will be messing with it every day.
This is an utterly fantastic piece for the price. Huge, heavy and incredibly detailed. It has a few minor flaws, but not enough to even lose a star for. It's that gorgeous. Meet Igor! The Stark Industries Iron Man Mark 38 Heavy Lift unit. The Comicave offering is 1/12 scale, so inscale to their other offerings along with the Bandai SH Figuarts. With that said Igor is huge in comparison to them. I had not realized that Igor is the Proto Hulkbuster and as almost as big as that suit. The Igor figure stands at about 8-9" tall, which in scale means the armor is 8-9' tall (or 3 meters).Like I said the detail on it is amazing. The figure has to be mostly metal it weighs at least 3 pounds. The sculpt is mind blowing. The paint is fantastic with every marked detail and weathering and damage. Rust stains, warning signs, panel access markings. Almost everything on the figure moves. Sliding hydraulic lift panels. Shifting panels on the spine. Multi layered independent shoulder pieces. Layered armor on the feet.Articulation is meh bordering on poor. Largely due to the core design. It's a hunched over hunchbacked rammer bot. It has nice pull down hips and feet. Knees are complex and layered but have limited range of motion. The same with waist torso and shoulders. elbows have about 90 degrees and no true straight. But this is all forgivable as the armor cannot be any other way. Accessories include fists, open hands and mother of god incredibly fully articulated hands with every finger joint articulated. (for some same reason they dont have these on as the default. You will.)The electronics are a mixed bag. They look good when on. But it is such a pain and so nerve wracking turning the eye lights on that you will quickly pull the batteries for storage safety and never do it again. To turn on the chest there is a switch between the shoulder plades and a battery hatch just below it. But for the eyes you must pull the head off, then use a soft plast tool to pop the top of the head open to install the batteried and turn on the swittch, Jam the head back on to enjoy the jight effect, then decapitate igor again to peel his skull open to turn the lights off. Like I said ANNOYING.Be warned, while Igor has a ton of metal. At least 70%, most of it is in his torso and upper body. He is a bit top heavy and must be balanced carefuly. He can be a shelf dive risk due to his top heavy weight.I would consider Igor a MUSTHAVE for 1/12 Iron Man collectors. He is an unusual and rare armor variant that we will not soon see again. He is well made, Not the best articulation, but good enough for display. It's just gorgeous.

Fantastic figure
This was my first time buying this type of collectable figure through Amazon; so I was worried about the authenticity of the figure. After reading the reviews I decided to go for it. Once I received and opened Igor I had instant relief; this figure is fantastic. Some of the things I liked:-This thing is bulky, heavy, and 75% metal. Exactly how a mark 38 (igor) iron man figure should be.-LED light up arc reactor (chest) and eyes!-Fully articulated hands!-Great detail; rust, slight battle damage (if you can call it that), and small lettering/decalSome of the downsides:-Because he's hunched over (hense the name igor), his torso/ waste has very limited articulation-His eyes aren't as bright as other iron man figures-You need to remove his head in order to turn on the LED bulb for his eyes. Careful when doing this

Amazing figure!
I got this figure at a great price well below any other place selling Igor and I am so happy I did. The figure is amazing and looks great with my 1/12 iron man collection. I was nervous it may be damaged or flawed due to the low price but i haven't found anything out of place. Definitely recommend getting this guy

Even Better than Expected
I bought the figure for just under $100 and was very happy with the purchase. Most of the reviews for the figure that I read/watched were pretty positive, however the actual figure far exceeded my expectations. The Igor figure is incredibly well-sculpted and has surprisingly great articulation for such a big, bulky character. The paint and finish is also very high quality. The only downside to the figure I received is that its left articulated hand has very loose fingers. However, I seem to have just gotten unlucky, as I haven't heard of anyone else with this problem. Also, he comes with other hand options, and the rest of the figure more than makes up for the loose fingers, so I still would give this figure 5 stars.Overall I would recommend this Comicave Igor figure to any collector. I also bought the Comicave Mark 43 1/12th scale Iron Man, and I would recommend that figure to any Iron Man fan as well.

... one mainly cause the price is right and I love die cast figures
I got this one mainly cause the price is right and I love die cast figures. Man I am so glad I got it. It's no Hot Toys figure but you pay only 20% and it's a heavy metal piece and very posable. It lights up with good detail and movable small parts on arms and back. Most places sell it for over 150 and so get it while it's still cheap.

Heavy weight Championship
As the whole figurine is made of 75% die-cast, it is rather heavy. Some of the joints are ratcheted and need to use some force to move them. One of the arm came off and I discovered that grease was used to lubricate them. I was able to put back the arm without any issue. I particularly love the individually articulated fingers. The paint job was very well done with very realistic weathering. I almost mistook them for real rust. :-)Strongly recommended.
