Does exactly what it's supposed to do.

So glad I found one of these as it’s saved me a fortune on batteries and not having to get a ladder out to change them.

Straight out of the box I was impressed, coming with fitting instructions and brackets to hammer the wire up against wood for cable management was a very nice feature. The cable is thin enough to easily slip under roof tiles to wire in my two Blink XT2 outdoor cameras and fit them both perfectly with a weather protected Micro USB output. Comes included with the transformer plug to connect to the socket which is nice nowadays too with companies removing plugs from boxes. I've purchased two so I'd say its great value for money and is easy to hide against guttering so it is not an eyesore.

Ok so… to put it in context I wall mount TVs for a living so drill external holes in walls quite a lot to fish cables in and out of walls if required which is exactly what I need this for- to power the outdoor Blink camera by going through the wall into an internal power socket. However… despite drilling a hole far too large for the USB head to pass through I still really struggled to get this through with decent rods. It probably got caught on insulation but it did snap the cable despite being careful. I reported this to the seller and they sent me out a replacement for free which I was very impressed with- so great customer service indeed!When I get the second one delivered I just cut the cable with enough slack on it to join it to the first one I pulled through the wall and it works fine (was fiddly to do but it was my only option here)If anyone wants to pass this through an external wall then I’d recommend a stronger cable really as this one did snap fairly easily, however it’ll need to have the waterproof seal on the head where connecting to the Blink camera as this one does.

Works well. Lots of cable. Not confident that the socket is waterproof so put a little blue tac around to seal it.I recommend it.

Really good quality

Although the batteries for Blink cameras last a fair time, they can run out unexpectedly especially in high traffic areas. Running on a mains adapter prolongs battery life. This product consist of a small USB mains power supply and 3m of cable with a rubberised plug. Easy to connect up and maintain waterproofing to the camera. Comes complete with a selection of cable clips.

I purchased these for the BLINK cameras I keep in my office. We were always having to change out the batteries due to the high volume of traffic throughout the day in the office.This eliminates the need for batteries. The batteries in the camera will ensure that the cameras keep rolling in case of an electrical outage.I would highly recommend. I’ve already recouped my money on what I spent for this power cord.
