Garelick/EEz-In 19843:01 Telescopicing Sport/Diver Ladder

Solid product that functions well as a ladder however, began to rust almost immediately around the joints.

Light, easy to install on an existing Garelick fitting on the boat transom, all in all exceeded expectations.

A superbly made ladder. Boarding ladders can not be toolong; I wish I could have afforded the 4 step ladder.

This rating may go up, or down... NO quality control at Garelick. Ladder wouldn't even slide into mounting bracket due to a misaligned slotted post on the ladder. You could visually see it was slanted at an angle. No one from Garelick even tried fitting it into the bracket before shipping it out. As a consequence, I have not put it on the boat. Contacted Garelick and they have yet to respond. Vendor is sending new ladder. If this one comes in and all is good AND it works well on my boat, this review may go to 4 stars, but lack of QC and no response, it will never go to 5. Sure hope I don't have a warranty issue as I doubt Garelick will be responsive then if they aren't now at the point of sale.

Ladder COMES WITH the Stainless Quick Release Transom Mounting Bracket with pin. It DOES NOT come with any mounting hardware or a needed transom mounting extension shim. Since my husband is a machinist and has the equipment and material to do so he made his own extension shim for the boat transom. A picture of it is shown with the included stainless quick release transom mounting bracket attached to the handmade transom extension shim. Ladder is of good quality and built to last.
