Salt and Pepper Mill Set of 2, Brushed Stainless Steel and Strong Long Glass Body, Hand Ceramic Mechanism, Top Lid Maintains Spice Freshness, Spices are not Included

I have finally found a great set of grinders! I have had several sets and none lasted, or was too small to hold more than a handful. These are large and finally I can have salt in almost a powder consistency!

After 2 years, these grinders still work well and look good. One has a tiny dent on the lid where someone dropped something on it at some point, but it’s not really noticeable.I took off one star because around the band just above the glass, there are the words Good Moments in script. Cheesy...it’s the brand I guess, but I didn’t see that on the photo when I ordered it. It’s not obnoxious except that I would have ordered one without a logo/brand if I could. Just didn’t want to mess with a return. Otherwise, very satisfied.

These were similar to my last salt/pepper rinders -- the dog kicked the salt off the table and smashed it. They feel a little cheaper -- that ridge of plastic at the top definitely needs to be smoothed over some, but they work. I had gotten a pair of Peugeot grinders, and $30 per, but they would not grind my Himalayan pink salt. These do just fine with it. We'll see how long they last, but they work for now.

11 months later the grinding mechanic for the pepper just broke. I don't know if that's because the peppercorns are more difficult to grind vs salt rocks, or if we got a faulty one. Either way not to impressed. I sent them an email in reguards to the 1 year warranty. I'll update if they honor it.

These are my first salt and pepper mills and I have to say that I love them, and they work as advertised. You can really taste the difference in the salt and pepper corns that I use can't believe it but it's true.

I never truly understood how ubiquitous plastic was in our lives until I chose to ditch it. Amazingly, even finding salt and pepper grinders sans plastic was a challenge. These are great, none (or barely any) of the plastic portion comes into contact with the food, even the grinder isn't plastic. They're stylish, and mine look much like the picture - the pink salt and black peppercorns in glass and burnished aluminum looking very stylish on my table.

Large capacity. I like that the jar is glass and although it says stainless steel, it must just be a thin layer of it covering the outside of the lid which is plastic inside surrounding the grinder. Tested the different grinds and it works well. Easy to adjust grind size also. The shape of the base and height also makes it more stable compared to taller sized grinders. I'm using it for two different types of peppercorns since I do not have any coarse salt to grind yet. May by another set.

Ok, I finally used my pepper grinder for the first time today. It's much better than the grinders that are built into the spices in the store. Those wore me out getting just a smidgen out. These can be a little tiresome but at least I didn't have to do it all day to get the amount I needed. I don't normally give reviews but these folks kept asking for one so I'm giving my honest opinion. I didn't give five stars because the shape was big in my hand and still tiresome to twist but I guess that's my fault. I should have gone for the traditional one pepper mill but I still like these.
